What if your company bans you from wearing the magnificent diamond engagement ring you received? It’s not a crazy hypothesis: it really happens, but in the United States. The large coffee chain Starbucks, in fact, has introduced a new Dress Code for its employees. One of the rules states, in fact, that Starbucks employees cannot wear watches, bracelets and engagement rings with stones in the workplace. The company claims that this is a food safety rule suggested by the government authority. And it also specified that the employees of the coffee chain can instead wear necklaces (but under their clothes), or small earrings, but a maximum of two per ear. The new dress code does not allow tattoos. And you? Would you be willing to take off your ring?
