Flowers and fruit in large, rich, colorful compositions: they are transformed into jewels with the collections of Santagostino.
Imagine a bowl of strawberries, alighted by colorful butterflies, flowers, and a few ladybugs: the Strawberry Frost collection by Santagostino seems tailor-made for nature lovers. The style is undoubtedly unique. These are eye-catching, vibrant, and colorful jewels. Indeed, the uniqueness of the design is what drove Leonardo and Angela Santagostino to found the brand in 1969 in Valenza, which unfortunately recently went into liquidation. Over the years, the collections and stones have evolved, but not the idea of creating jewelry somewhat reminiscent of those Flemish still life paintings, where the composition of diverse elements, like flowers and fruit, is the subject matter that allows the painter to express his virtuosity.

In this case, the artisan jeweler’s skill and monastic patience create necklaces that are as visible as a moon in the night sky. More than individual pieces of jewelry, they could be exhibited in an art gallery. It’s no coincidence that they are unique pieces, bouquets composed of precious and semi-precious stones that are difficult to replicate. Not only because the materials available in such vast quantities cannot be unlimited, but also because the complexity of the composition inevitably leaves room for the creativity of the craftsman. And of the designer, Ilenia Corti, who continued the family tradition alongside her brother Emanuele as sales manager. Santagostino Fine Art Jewellery had acquired the TFashion traceability code, for a more ethical and transparent Italian fashion supply chain. An extra touch.
