Roberto Coin and the Etruscan trendsetter

To Tanaquilla, wife of the fifth king of Rome Tarquinio Prisco (600 BC) and his political adviser: Roberto Coin dedicated to this historic figure his collection, establishing a refined technique of processing gold already used by the Etruscans. Also because, according to legend, Tanaquilla would be the first woman to wear jewelry as fashion event. In short, the queen was a trendsetter of his time. Bracelet, necklace and earrings in the collection are made of yellow gold and black. The bib-necklace Tanaquilla is like choker and enhanced by brown diamonds and Danburite: a rare yellow stone, which takes its name from the city of Danbury, Connecticut, United States.
