Jewellery, accessories & co. In Milan, 475 exhibitors presented themselves at Bijoux in the pavilions of the Rho Fair. Three macro trends: Timeless (where refinement, elegance and attention to detail with a retro flavor dominate) Naturally (jewelry made from everything found in nature such as wood, stone, metal etc.) and Senza Frontiere (i.e. jewelery and accessories that are inspired by distant realities). Various novelties attracted the attention of visitors, from Anna Rock’s fringed bags from the Seventies to the fluorescent ones in the Prestige and Bon Bon stands. And the fluorescent colors, together with Swarovsky glitter, also return in the Bijoux collection by Brio Italiano: brightly colored earrings, necklaces, bracelets, as well as in the new collection of plastic watches by Too Late. The collection of necklaces by Bp Jewels is particular and has extra-large shapes; the earrings in the shape of a jelly bear and the necklace with a liquorice wheel as a pendant from the Haribo Bijoux line are curious. The new collection of Cruciani bracelets has colors from flags from all over the world, while the series dedicated to fairy tales, after Mickey Mouse’s face, is enriched with new subjects, such as the carriage, the slipper, the crown and Donald Duck. Among the most important and precious jewels, Della Rovere focuses on the Esotikè collection inspired by distant worlds and created with village stone, Rosonite and Acqua Marina, while Gemmarium presents a jewel concept inspired by the 1920s, a simpler and more essential collection, but still very bright.
