New Tiffany jewels to support the defense of the elephant, lion and rhino ♦ ︎
Tiffany in the African forest to defend wild animals from extinction. The commitment of the American Maison has lasted since last year and, with the applause of those who love nature, and was also renewed for 2018. To strengthen the #KnotOnMyPlanet campaign took to the field, alongside Tiffany, also celebrity like Doutzen Kroes, Naomi Campbell, Rowan Blanchard, Bria Vinaite and Nigel Sylvester, who will offer their image in support. The initiative benefits the Elephant Crisis Fund. Tiffany’s support is obviously granted through a jewelry collection: Save the Wild.
For 2018 the collection is expanded with a new elephant-shaped brooch with pavé diamonds in a limited edition.
There are also new charms representing two further endangered species, the rhinoceros and the lion. 100% of the profits from the sale will be used to support the conservation of every threatened species.
From the first launch of the collection, in September 2017, the campaign led to the achievement of 1 million dollars in just the first four months. And with nearly $ 3 million donated to date, Tiffany & Co. tripled its initial minimum commitment to the Elephant Crisis Fund in support of #KnotOnMyPlanet, and promised a minimum additional 1 million to the Wildlife Conservation Network by December 2019.
The funds will go where the need is greatest for each of the three species, from anti-poaching efforts to initiatives to reduce demand for ivory and horn.
The jewels are available in sterling silver, 18k rose gold.
The new charms of the Save the Wild Tiffany collection can be purchased in stores and online. A special edition of an elephant-shaped brooch with diamond pavé will only be available at Fifth Avenue. Lavinia Andorno
