It’s not just Apple Watch and Samsung Gear: a new hi-tech ring is also coming, Mota SmartRing. It connects to a smartphone and works like technological watches, such as those from Sony and Smartwatch, Motorola and Lg or Moto 360. The ring connects to the device via Bluetooth 4.0 and allows you to receive notifications on a small display. You can light up the icon of a message, an email, a text message or a Facebook status. In addition, of course, to being notified if someone is calling you on your smartphone. Just take a look at the finger that wears Mota SmartRing to stay updated. The ring is compatible with iOs (i.e. with Apple iPhones) or with the Android operating system (Samsung, Lg, but not Nokia). It recharges wirelessly via a dock, but at the moment it is not known how long it will last. The Mota SmartRing is expected to be available in April 2015 at a price of over $100: the fundraising for its production is still ongoing.
