Ethical jewelry is now a habit for Chopard, which every year dedicates a part of the Red Carpet collection to objects made with materials from legitimate and Fairmined certified sources, that is, which respect rigorous requirements of social development, environmental protection, working conditions and economic development. Usually the selection of rings, earrings and pendants called the Green Carpet collection takes on all the standards of high jewelry in terms of workmanship and use of precious stones, but for the first time this year a line in yellow gold has also been created, designed for a more widespread distribution. The presentation during the Cannes Film Festival was no coincidence: like the Green Carpet 2015 it is inspired by the Palme d’Or, but in the Palme Verte collection its leaves are very similar to those of the award reserved for the winner of the Festival. The award was redesigned in 1998 by Chopard, which has been the official sponsor of the event since then and supplies the coveted palms for each edition. Here are the images of the brand new Palme Verte.
