Maison Chopard presents a new version of its famous jewelry collection featuring freely moving diamonds, alongside new watches.
Chopard is celebrating—and relaunching—its Happy Diamonds jewelry collection. Originally launched in 1976, the line achieved extraordinary success. The innovation was (seemingly) simple: allowing the diamonds to move freely within the piece of jewelry. The new version of the Happy Diamonds collection features Bella Hadid and Liu Wen, who model the new series of watches and jewelry alongside re-editions of iconic designs. In videos directed by Manu Cossu—featuring choreography by Stephen Galloway and photography by Greg Williams—the diamonds move freely between two sapphire crystals.

The new Happy Diamonds pendants utilize the rectangular design introduced in 2006 but offer more space for the diamonds to move. These pendant necklaces are crafted from ethical yellow, rose, or white gold and feature three moving diamonds; they are available in two sizes.

The anniversary also coincides with new versions of the Happy Sport—a watchmaking chapter in the Happy Diamonds story. The original model, launched in 1993, was developed based on an idea by Caroline Scheufele, Chopard’s Co-President and Artistic Director; it was distinguished by the inclusion of moving diamonds on the watch dial, paired with stainless steel. The new “Happy Sport The First” models are available with 26mm and 33mm cases in Lucent Steel and yellow gold. While the aesthetic remains true to the original, the proportions have been updated, featuring five to seven diamonds moving across the dial.
