The Masters of Jewellery in Milan. The event returns to Palazzo dei Giureconsulti from 10 to 12 October 2014. The exhibition dedicated to artisanal and artistic production compares different working techniques: Celtic, Lombard and Etruscan, or the Abruzzo filigree and the enamel technique. The event is promoted by the cultural and artistic association Iperbole, Eventi Doc by Myriam Vallegra and the goldsmiths’ group Maestri del Gioiello. During the event, the sixth edition of the Jacopo da Trezzo Competition will also be held, in memory of the man who first cut and worked the diamond and who, even today, survives in the artistic skills and imagination of contemporary craftsmen. The competition will see goldsmiths compete in the creation of unique pieces that will be presented at the great event of 2015 A Jewel for Expo: the most interesting themes and cities of the Universal and International Exhibitions of the past, present and future.
