Merge a valuable blue diamond with the name of a Hollywood actress Shirley Temple. Result: it will turn a media lighthouse. And that’s what happens with the auction to be held in New York, April 19, in the Sotheby’s hall. Auction, in fact, will the precious ring which belonged to the former child prodigy nicknamed Goldilocks (it’s a fate, then, that she loved the jewelry), who died in 2014. The ring, that belonged to actress (and former US Ambassador in Czechoslovakia) has a diamond of 9.54 carats, Fancy Deep Blue. Shirley Temple’s father had bought the diamond ring in early 1940, to celebrate 12 years of the little artist and the film’s release The Blue Bird. The color of the diamond on ring.
