Medallions with dedications, steel bracelets, necklaces with symbolic pendants (star, amulet, key, heart, four-leaf clover, etc.): two new lines by S’Agapò, a brand of the Bros Manifatture group, are aimed at a younger public looking for a bojoux to wear in the new season. The two collections are called Me+You and Happy. The first consists of bracelets with medallions bearing writings such as You Are My Sunshine, or I Am Your Moon (in this case on a crescent moon-shaped pendant). The steel is in natural color, or golden. There is also a version without writing, but with an element in the shape of a flower or a bee.
The series of necklaces and bracelets in the Happy collection is also made of steel, with chains to which the pendants are connected, which in some cases are also made with small set crystals. The closure is a snap hook to facilitate the opening and closing of the bijoux.
Desire, according to the definition found in the dictionary, is an acute feeling of need to achieve or obtain what is believed to be indispensable for the satisfaction of one’s physical needs, in particular referring to the sexual or spiritual sphere. And who in the world has no desires? Indeed, desires are usually much more numerous than we can satisfy. But there is one aspect that knows (almost) no limits in achieving desires: that of jewels. True, the very expensive ones are perhaps unattainable, but the wishes concerning more easily accessible jewels can be satisfied.
Perhaps Brosway was thinking of this when he launched the Desideri collection. The collection consists of steel chains in natural color, or with a golden finish made up of many small spheres. Blue, white or purple cubic zirconia are also added to bracelets and necklaces. Desires that can be achieved with a budget limited to 24, 29 or 39 euros.
Magnetica System is the name of a line of jewelry by Breil, a brand of the Binda group also known for the production of watches. Now the jewels made with a magnetic closure that facilitates their use are expanded with Twists, chokers and bracelets made with multi-strand micro-chains in intertwined steel proposed in silver and in the IP gold tone. Twist bijoux are inspired by the trend of large and simple jewels with the fusion of different elements. The design is essential and with a vintage flavour. The oversized braid made with multi-strand chains fits perfectly with the magnetic closure.
Like the other pieces in the Magnetica System collection, the Twist elements can be worn individually, combined with each other or joined with others in the collection through the magnetic closures, to create personalized and transformable jewels. The line consists of necklaces and bracelets of different lengths. Prices: the choker composed of a multi-strand braided steel chain 80 euros, with IP gold treatment 99 euros. Multi-strand braided steel chain bracelet 60 euros, with IP gold treatment 80 euros.
The new bijoux-designs by the French designer and architect Marion Vidal ♦︎
Take a few ceramic elements, add small Carrara marble segments and join them with plexiglas thermoformed and hand polished in the South of France. Now sauté with gilt brass and, if necessary, a dash of vermeil. Mix well and, if you have carefully followed Marion Vidal’s recipe, you will obtain a pleasant, modern, lively jewel.

But, in fact, if you really want to imitate the French designer, you also need an architecture degree, like that of Marion Vidal, who interprets her bijoux as if they were compositions of elements from which a project for a monument, a house, a cathedral must arise . Made, however, according to the most essential, almost subversive philosophy of architecture. Imagine, therefore, conceiving a jewel by carefully studying surfaces and volumes, weight and shades, without considering the addition of secondary, redundant details. It is the goal that Marion Vidal has reached, and that is repeated with the new collections.
Marion Vidal’s jewels can be found in her boutique in Paris, but also in the online shop on the site, as well as in various cities of the world, from Los Angeles to Seoul, in the shops of some stylists (Paul Smith in London, Christian Wijnants in Antwerp ), and even in museums (Museum of Decorative Arts in Paris or in jewelery galleries (Macle in Beyrouth).
The warm season is approaching, the temperatures are rising, we are outdoors. Maybe to sip an ice cold drink. When winter is behind us, ice becomes attractive, as Amen thought when presenting the Icy collection, one of the novelties for spring 2023. The Tuscan bijoux brand wants to focus on contrasting colors such as blue, purple, green, olive, champagne, brown and ruby red. Colors that are those of a stone with a frozen effect called creek stone.
The stones have a square, teardrop or heart-shaped cut, while the metal used is silver in a natural version, or with a golden finish. The stones are also surrounded by fine lines of cubic zirconia. The Icy collection includes numerous pendant necklaces, rings and earrings.
Years ago she received the Gold Medal of Merit in Fine Arts from the hands of the King of Spain: but Helena Rohner, born in Las Palmas (Canary Islands) seems to have kept a style more consistent with her Nordic origins. It is no coincidence that 70% of her collections are sold in Great Britain and Denmark, in addition to Japan. The production of lei is very far from a Baroque, Mediterranean or Latin style. On the contrary, according to her «jewelry is the light of the body», and it must be clean, essential.
But she doesn’t like the term minimalist: she considers it too fashionable. She is against decorations and for a Scandinavian style, successfully transplanted in Spain, and above all abroad. A European aesthetic, as the designer defines it. Which prompted her, in addition to designing jewels, also to use her design skills for accessories and furniture, even if the precious ones, which focus on design and not on metal or precious stones, remain her main passion. «A jewel is a shy sculpture», she says. But her collections demonstrate that even an apparently simple design can be very decisive.
Two sisters from Bologna with a passion for design. Una (Allegra Trento) who worked in the fashion world in Amsterdam. The other (Michela Trento), specialized in graphics and design. Together they launched 12 Pm, a fashion jewelry brand that aims to revitalize stories, styles and trends with a license to range from the world of vintage to art deco, from the Victorian period to that of art nouveau. All a close relationship with the fashion world. The collections are also the result of a special design: each jewel is first designed within a comic strip, Michela’s specialty, and they become part of a story.
The jewels have generous volumes and a recognizable design. They are made of bronze or gold-dipped brass, but also with inserts in printed python skin, hand-engraved from Volterra alabaster, a white-colored stone of the gods that has the property of being easily worked, or with the addition of an amethyst. The prices are very low, in line with the genre.
Bullet, but peaceful. Indeed, to be exhibited without fear of arousing reactions. Because the Bullets proposed by Brosway are those of a collection of five bracelets. The brand of the Bros Manifatture group offers a series of bracelets made up of large beads of natural stones, such as malachite, Botswana agate, red jasper, lapis lazuli or onyx, mounted on steel wires with finishes matching the stones. The size of the bracelets is designed to be suitable for a male wrist, but nothing prevents a woman from wearing them.
The Bullet bracelets have a price that does not exceed 40 euros, except for the agate model, which reaches 59 euros. Also for the male audience, the company offers the bracelets from the Material collection, which use woven leather, steel and stones such as lapis lazuli, tiger’s eye or onyx.
Time passes and it’s time for Pensieri Felici (Happy Thoughts). This is the name of the brand born as a spin-off of Lowell, a Modenese company specialized in watches. Liliana Caselli founded the company when she was only 20 years old, in 1969. Over the years the entrepreneur has been awarded multiple awards as an example of female management, and has passed the company down to her children. The Rovatti brothers are the second generation and had the idea of developing the Pensieri Felici brand.
These are jewels with an affordable price, made of 925 silver, sometimes with a 24-karat yellow gold bath, 18-karat rose gold or in the rhodium-plated silver version, sometimes with the addition of pearls or enamel. The main feature is the stylized and three-dimensional figure of a little man or woman. The brand icon is inserted inside or outside the jewelry. Earrings, necklaces, bracelets or rings always have the small miniature that characterizes the jewel.
He too, understood as a male, has a heart. He doesn’t always beat, he’s not always visible, he’s not always full of passion. But, when the heart is there, it’s time to celebrate. Valentine’s Day is (also) dedicated to men, according to S’Agapò, the Bros Manifatture brand dedicated to the youngest. For Valentine’s Day, therefore, S’Agapò (which in Greek means I love you), offers a series of bijoux which are largely dedicated to the partner.
They are rings, necklaces with cross pendants and bracelets made of steel, with details in black pvd. The rings, however, have a size that makes them acceptable also to be worn by a woman. Steel is used with different interpretations of the link and the chain, the bracelets are equipped with a pendant engraved with the name of the brand.
How many names does love have? And in how many forms can a relationship live? Finally, which jewel best represents the couple’s passion? All questions that Amore (Love) wants to answer, the name of the first bijoux collection of 2023 created by Amen and dedicated to the day of lovers. It is no coincidence that February 14 is the feast of those who love each other and, at the same time, it is also the feast of jewelers, who offer necklaces or rings as a gift to best celebrate the date consecrated to Cupid.
In this specific case, the Amore collection relies on the eternal design of the heart, but interpreted in many different ways, together with small stars, or with a woven line that forms the silhouette. But not only. Because the Amen bijoux line also includes pendants in the shape of a four-leaf clover or teddy bear, or bracelets with the inscription Love. The bijoux are made of silver in natural or golden color, with the addition of white or colored cubic zirconia. Prices do not exceed 70 euros.
Raffaele and Francesco Palma a dozen years ago added the business of a brand, Paviè, to the management of the family jewelery in the center of Ottaviano (Naples). The brand represents a line of bijoux aimed at a fashionable female target, attentive to novelties, but also to prices. Paviè earrings, necklaces and rings are available at a very affordable price, with the idea of offering bijoux that can be changed often without too many problems. To contain costs, Paviè uses resins worked with artisan techniques, Swarovski crystals and brass, but also silver.
The type of material used also allows us to propose a large number of models, including earrings with cubic zirconia, crystals or resin, which are suitable for the creation of classic or more fashionable shapes. The brand has also organized an online shop to reach the widest possible audience. The brand was also present at the winter edition of Vicenzaoro.
From religious jewels to a brand that produces bracelets and necklaces at very affordable prices: this is the story of Elisabetta Veltroni, who shelved her law degree to devote herself to the brand dedicated to the devout BellaMaria but also, together with her friend Camilla , to the more secular Io&Te. The company is Tuscan, it is located in the Arezzo district where dozens of companies specializing in gold processing are concentrated. Despite the really affordable prices, the brand promises strictly handmade creations.
Behind it is BellaMaria, which specializes in the trade of silver items and which supports the production process. Those of Io&Te are very simple bracelets, necklaces and earrings, suitable for any occasion, made of silver, even with yellow or rose gold galvanic finishes and the addition of crystals, but also with natural stones, such as lapis lazuli, pearls or cubic zirconia colorful.
Chant, a word that means song in French, is also the name of a line of bijoux offered by Brosway, a brand of the Bros Manifatture group. It is a collection that includes a series of steel necklaces and bracelets, with a gold-colored finish, heart or star-shaped pendants. Furthermore, some bijoux have a particularity: the use of shell pearls. These are small spheres also called shell pearls or fancy pearls. Shell pearls are spheres produced with the use of shell powder and resin: a process that gives these small globes a pearly and brilliant appearance.
The prices are very low: they range from 34 euros for the 316L steel bracelet, with pendants in the shape of a moon, heart, star and shell pearls, up to 52 euros for the double strand necklace in 316L steel, with a gold-colored finish. pendants in the shape of a heart, star and shell pearls.
Colors at a very affordable price: it’s a choice proposed by Kulto 925, the Watch Diffusion brand specializing in silver jewellery. The bijoux company presents a line of jewelry with simple shapes in silver combined with colored cubic zirconia. For example, a heart-shaped yellow stone accompanies the pendant of the necklace (74 euros), while a solitaire ring has a heart-shaped cubic zirconia (64 euros), another uses an emerald-cut crystal (64 euros).
The affordable price of these crystals allows you to obtain dimensions that on a natural stone would cost one digit with many more zeros. Among the shades available there are also shades such as lilac, deep blue, natural green and deep purple.
Crystals and bijoux, a close-knit couple. It is therefore normal that on the occasion of Valentine’s Day all the brands of fashion jewelry, that is jewels that focus on the shape rather than on the precious material, take the field to please couples or, more precisely, to suggest a gift to be presented on the 14th. February, Valentine’s Day. Boccadamo, a company specializing in whimsical and high-impact bijoux, suggests taking a look at collections such as Caleida, Sharada and Allegra, classic lines of the Lazio brand.
They are bijoux with sinuous volumes and pendants with a heart-shaped design, with details in cubic zirconia and crystals in soft nuances. The heart shape, for example, is used by the Caleida line. Sharada focuses on the briolette, teardrop cut of its colored crystals with cubic zirconia details. Finally, the Allegra collection focuses on light with a palette of colors which, also in this case, underline the heart-shaped cut.
New hearts are waiting to be celebrated, pampered, warmed up. They are those of those who are preparing to celebrate February 14, the feast of lovers. Maybe with a little gift that helps. Like the one proposed by the Italian brand Opsobjects: the bijoux of the Glitter Heart jewelery line sparkle thanks to the brilliant heart. The line includes a necklace of 40 centimeters and adjustable up to 45, composed of a thin chain with an oval-shaped link and with a heart-shaped pendant in the center, with glitter detail. The steel pendant (28 euros) is also available in the version with yellow gold-colored PVD treatment (32 euros).
The collection also offers bracelets, also characterized by an oval link chain and a central heart-shaped pendant with glitter. The bracelets are offered in a steel version (22 euros) and in steel with yellow gold PVD treatment (26 euros). The wrist bijoux have a length of 17 cm adjustable up to 20 cm.
In Venice (California), the designer Sophie Monet has chosen the path of nature with fine wood jewelry and stones.
The collection is called Bella Italia and it is produced in Venice, California, a little town so named because it is crossed by some channel and offers views with few houses that do not exceed two storeys. But, probably, the Venice beaches inspire Sophie Monet, a designer can boast a commendable desire to propose jewels that have two advantages: a very orderly form, clean, simple, and being absolutely environmentally friendly. And the sustainability of the jewelry to the environment is not a minor issue, both for the impact on the area where are the mines, often with processes that have a profound effect on the ground, both for the employment of labor.
The jewelry line Bella Italia, however, is in fine woods, such as mahogany. Well yes, but it is not simple cheap jewelry. The pieces are made with care and also have the air of being resistant over time. In some cases they are combined with gold-plated metal or stones such as agate. The price is pretty affordable. They are also sold online, with prices ranging between 100 and 250 euro.
Art lover, model, traveller. But, above all, one of the signatures in the world of Parisian bijoux: Aurélie Bidermann has traveled extensively in South America and India. But it was her studies in art history in New York and Paris that prompted the designer to work first as an art historian in the impressionist and contemporary art departments of Sotheby’s. But gemology studied in Antwerp, talismans and art nouveau pushed Aurélie Bidermann towards the world of jewelry. His first creations and her brand are from 2004.
An imaginative, informal style, defined as boho, was immediately liked by the Parisians. In 2010 Aurélie Bidermann began selling her bijoux online and in 2012 she opened her first shop on the Rive Gauche, in Saint-Germain-des-Prés, followed by another on the opposite bank of the Seine. They are bijoux that favor a cheerful creativity, made with a simple gold plating, with the use of materials such as bakelite. Among the celebrities who have worn her bijoux are Kate Moss, Lou Doillon, Sharon Stone and the Red Hot Chilli Peppers.
Kulto 925, one of the Diffusione Orologi brands specialized in silver jewellery, presents new bracelets, necklaces and earrings. The common feature is lightness. In this case it is gilded silver, with the addition of a cubic zirconia pavé for the sequins that accompany the design of the necklaces, with a flavor described as gypsy. The choker necklace has a single central pendant made up of three elements: two smooth sequins and one with cubic zirconia pavé (the proposed price is 69 euros). The very low price also suggests the possibility of wearing more than one jewel together.
For example, together with other necklaces with sequins arranged asymmetrically, playing with the dimensions and the pavé decoration (price: 99 euros). There is also a tie necklace made up of several strands and a very long pendant that crosses the neckline (109 euros). Even bracelets and earrings follow the same design.
