In the Seventies it might have seemed like a utopia to separate the pearl from the use in which it had been locked up: for the necklace suitable for respectable ladies. In short, the pearl was elegant, but a bit bourgeois living room. Even for this erroneous belief, the name of the brand chosen to modernize this concept, Utopia, sounds good. A brand born from Gaia, a Milanese company specialized in the import of pearls from the South Seas, Utopia aims at an unconventional use of conventional elements. This is not a contradiction. Utopia succeeds with its collections, like the one recently presented: Utopia Note, with a soft design in which the pearls are accompanied by diamonds and gold settings. The name of the collection, Note, refers to the ideal relationship between the design of these precious drops and the musical signs of the pentagram.
