There is no doubt: Pomellato in French packaging becomes bolder, explores new horizons. And offers three films (that gioiellis offers you) dedicated to three icons of the Milanese maison that has passed under the Kering banner. The films are dedicated to three lines: Nudo, Capri, Sabbia. They are created, in total freedom, Pomellato assures, by three young directors, who have created short stories to tell, with different tastes, their feelings in relation to Pomellato jewels. The idea, called Pomellato Icon Movies, involved Francesco Carrozzini, author of the «short» Nudo, Filippo Silvestris and Pierluigi Ferrandini, who sign the film dedicated to Capri, and Alex Tacchi author of Sabbia. Carrozzini tells a story of shadow and light, inspired by the essentiality of Nudo, which for the author becomes the sign of change. Milanese, thirty years old, son of an artist, two degrees (in philosophy in Milan and in directing in Los Angeles) has lived and worked in New York since 2004. He is an established photographer and director. Known for his portraits of famous people, from Morgan Freeman to Keith Richards, from Jeff Koons to Marina Abramovich.
Filippo Silvestris and Pierluigi Ferrandini make Villa Lysis Fersen and Capri the natural theater to tell a journey through time in the Mediterranean Sea, which rest on the ring that has the name of the island and on the memory of a childhood love never forgotten. Silvestris is Roman, thirty-three years old, he studied photography at the University (Fine Arts in Rome). International experiences, but above all many jobs in the world of fashion (Fendi, Emporio Armani..) and for advertising, as well as some short films of great scope. Ferrandini has been working alongside important directors (such as Sergio Rubini) for 15 years: he collaborates in directing, directing the actors, directing the second filming unit. But he is also a filmmaker: in recent years he has written and directed more than ten short films, winners in over 150 international festivals. Finally, Sabbia, by Alex Tacchi: a fantastic journey that will end on the glittering surface of the Sabbia ring. The director tells of worlds and times, far away and very close, and does so with refined and dreamlike effects. A mix of creativity and skills that make Alex a unique talent in the world of fashion and luxury. Graduated from IED (Istituto Europeo di Design) in Digital Design and Media Productions, today Alex is one of the most well-known videomakers in the world of luxury goods. With his production company Full/Frame/Figure he has developed projects with high technical and creative content for very important brands (Dsquared2, Fendi, Gucci, Ermenegildo Zegna) and has produced fashion films exclusively for Vogue.it, Qvest Magazine and The Fashionisto.
