Christie’s is hosting a charity auction featuring Tiggany and Vhernier’s clothing and jewelry from the film.
Christie’s is hosting an online auction featuring clothing and accessories from The Devil Wears Prada 2 from September 1st to 15th. Proceeds will benefit the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) and the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA). A free, public exhibition of the items for sale will be held at Christie’s New York headquarters at 20 Rockefeller Plaza from September 8th to 13th. The online auction, conceived and supported by Meryl Streep, star of The Devil Wears Prada 2, who spearheaded efforts to auction off costume designs after the first film, will include many fashion pieces related to the film, some worn by Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, Stanley Tucci, Simone Ashley, and Lady Gaga on the big screen.
Among the highlights of the auction are the Gabriela Hearst Niki dress worn by Andy Sachs’s character, played by Anne Hathaway, in the Hamptons, which accidentally stains the dress in the film (the dress will be offered with the stain). The Dries Van Noten tasseled jacket worn by Miranda Priestly’s character, played by Meryl Streep, in the film during a Runway staff meeting. The Dolce & Gabbana pieces worn by Meryl Streep, Stanley Tucci, and Simone Ashley at the designer’s Spring/Summer 2026 show in Milan. The feathered TongTong dress by Terrence Zhou, played by Bad Binch, worn by Lady Gaga in the Runway music video with the artist Doechii. For jewelry, the Elsa Peretti Bone Cuff bracelet for Tiffany worn by Emily Blunt as Emily in the film (list value $107,000) will be up for sale, as well as a Vhernier necklace and ring worn by Meryl Streep as Miranda Priestly.
