Due bracciali in smalto con decorazioni in stile cinese del 1920. Venduti per 94mila euro

The Twenties Win at Sotheby’s

The surprise winners of the Fine Jewels auction organized by Sotheby’s in London on July 16 were two enamel bracelets with Chinese-style decorations. These are bracelets decorated on both sides, in orange and green enamel, 18 centimeters long and signed Verger Frères, made in 1920. The two jewels were sold for over 94 thousand euros. An excellent performance was also achieved by a pair of good-sized (6.15 and 6.34 carats) cushion-cut white and fancy yellow diamond earrings: they were sold for 86 thousand euros. A diamond ring, with a large 10-carat ruby in the center, was instead awarded for 63 thousand euros, while a diamond ring and large baguette-cut emerald was purchased for over 60 thousand euros. A very flashy gem, but in comparison, the diamond and gem necklace sold for just over 44 thousand euros seems like a bargain.
