Carine Roitfeld, with Naomi Campbell, will curate a spectacular fashion show all in gold with 40 models wearing clothes, accessories and jewels by Alexander McQueen, Burberry, Roberto Cavalli, Alexander Wang, Christian Dior, Pucci, Fendi, Giorgio Armani, Gucci, Givenchy, Louis Vuitton, Marchesa, Michael Kors, Prada, Valentino, Versace, Ralph Lauren, Lanvin, Comme des Garcons, Bulgari, Hoorsenbuhs, House of Waris and Kimberly McDonald.The occasion is the charity gala planned in Cannes by amfAr, the foundation that raises money in the world of cinema in favor of research against AIDS, of which Sharon Stone is the long-time ambassador, with colleagues Janet Jackson and Milla Jovovich. The event will be held on May 23rd during the Cannes Film Festival. Also expected are Kenneth Cole, Jessica Chastain, Heidi Klum, Naomi Campbell, Carine Roitfeld and producer Harvey Weinstein. Also announced among others are Roberto and Eva Cavalli, Sir Elton John and her husband David Furnish, Remo Ruffini of Moncler. Roberto Cavalli will take care of the dinner decor. To date, since the amfAr event in Cannes, in 20 years more than 80 million dollars have been raised for AIDS research, starting from that first edition with the founder Liz Taylor.
