Tiffany makes tons of money. The American fashion house closed the second quarter financial statements (as of July 31st), with profits increasing by 16.3%, to 106.8 million dollars. Wow, what caused this leap? Simple: at Tiffany jewelry sales in China and Japan. In fact, the New York jewelery giant sold for 4.4% more, at 925.9 million dollars, but the greatest increase (+13%) comes from sales in the Asia-Pacific region (which accounts for 22 % of revenues). On the contrary, Tiffany is not making waves in and around the US. Sales of jewelery which cost less than silver jewelery and which provide more profit are not brilliant. Meanwhile the company is doing well in the high jewelry segment. In any case, Tiffany has raised its forecast for the end of the year. Congratulations.
