Brosway’s accounts

June is time for accounts for companies, including jewelery companies. Here then are the data of the Bros Manifatture group, the one that produces, among other things, Brosway and S’Agapò jewels: 2012 closed with an increase of 1.3% to 38.8 million euros. These days it’s not bad, even if in 2011 the growth was much higher: 43%. The problem is that 95% of Bros Manifatture’s turnover is made in Italy, where consumption is decreasing. Yet profitability remains high: ebitda (gross profit) is over 20%. Let’s get to production: S’Agapò has done great, with a growth of 15% compared to 2011. However, the one making the most revenue is the Brosway brand, with over 30 million euros in jewellery, silver and watches. Now, in order not to remain trapped in a stagnant market like the Italian one, the company founded and led by Gianfranco Beleggia is trying to grow on international markets, in particular in Germany, Northern Europe, Russia, France and the United States. And in Italy, it focuses on a new retail concept, similar to the foreign one of corners and shop-in-shops.
