With the doors of VicenzaOro closed, another expo opens for jewelry enthusiasts: Sabo Jewelry, (Rome, September 27-29 Rome). Sabo is an exhibition that includes sectors such as home decor, table and kitchen, stationery, items for smokers, home textiles and, by popular demand, also jewelry and precious items, to which an entire pavilion is dedicated. Sabo Jewelry will feature companies from the Italian goldsmith tradition, but also new proposals for fashion accessories and costume jewelry. Among the most innovative materials reported, the choice of titanium, used for technological devices, and now reinterpreted and enhanced for its aesthetic potential. There is no shortage of surprising pieces, such as lapilli obtained from a block of basalt from the lava of Etna, decorated with ceramic enamels and fired at 960°, for jewelry with extremely high mechanical resistance, but also accessories in sabra, a typical vegetal silk obtained from the cactus plant, woven and dyed by hand. Plexiglass, on the other hand, is used in a rolled bracelet, a 3D structure that seems to find inspiration in architecture, while transparent resin, used as a versatile material, allows for the creation of objects that are always original and of great emotional impact.
Also very trendy are the works inspired by plant and animal nature. Flowers triumph. Large and colorful to adorn the neck, or small and discreet: the result is a decoration in which the detail makes the difference and real petals are transformed into a ring. From flora to fauna, the animal-jewel draws the attention of collectors and creatives with cute, enameled and colorful decorations. The right accessory for every style and occasion. Alongside precious and semi-precious items, also semi-finished products and components and also bags, scarves, glasses. A composite and diversified product offer, in response to the growing requests of buyers. Admission is free and reserved for industry professionals.
