A charity auction centered on a sumptuous collection of jewels: Piera Santambrogio, a Milanese entrepreneur and generous philanthropist, has donated her precious collection to the University of Milan and the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart. The goal: to offer training opportunities to young female students. The two Milanese universities have thus chosen Sotheby’s to organize the auction on Wednesday, December 3. The proceeds will be transformed into scholarships for female students at Statale and Cattolica.
The catalog includes jewels by Trabucco, Bulgari, Scavia, Cartier. Among the best pieces are a pink coral set, which includes a three-strand necklace by Trabucco and accompanied by a pair of earrings and a ring, a bracelet and a ring from the 1980s by Cartier, a tourmaline set by Scavia, a Martignetti jewel.
