Goodbye Cartier, Bernard Fornas is the new Mr. Richemont. In fact, he joins the board of directors of Compagnie Financiére Richemont Sa, the Swiss group’s safe, to become co-CEO of Richemont together with Richard Lepeu. The position will become operational starting from April, and follows the farewell of Johann Rupert. Fornas held the position of CEO of Cartier for ten years, between 2002 and 2012, after a long career that began in 1994. In short, it is an unstoppable climb: in addition to Cartier, the Richemont group controls brands such as Van Cleef & Arpels, Piaget, Vacheron Constantin, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Iwc, Panerai and Montblanc.
