If you go to New York during fashion week, stop by the Bulgari flagship store on Fifth Avenue, which will transform into a very precious home. The occasion, as reported by «New York Magazine», is a retrospective called Serpenti, which also winks at the Chinese calendar, given that this is a Year of the Snake. The event dedicated to the gold and enamel snakes of the Roman maison is curated by the historian Marion Phasel. The gallery will house dozens of spiral bracelets, belts, watches and rings made in Italy over the last 70 years. The exhibition is scheduled only in New York, until March 6 (but will then move to San Francisco and Houston). Bulgari has also promoted a book to commemorate the collection, with the history of the jewel-serpent symbol of the house, and with the famous faces who have worn the jewels. There are glamorous portraits of Diana Vreeland, Rachel Weisz, Anna Wintour shot by Steven Meisel and Annie Leibovitz. All with snakes and various appendages.
