If you cried to the tune of «My heart will go on» sung by Celine Dion, while the Titanic sank together with the gazes of Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet, here is a good opportunity to revive your yearnings for the history of the most famous shipwreck. After arriving (it must be said) in Orlando, Florida, the exhibition which collects some jewels found in the sunken ship docks at the Luxor hotel in Las Vegas. Objects related to the tragedy, which remained under the sea for 75 years, including some precious ones, will be on display in the American city until March 3rd. The exhibition is entitled «The Titanic Experience» and among the objects found in the sunken hull there are a diamond ring, a filigree pendant, a necklace with charms (including a lucky pig), medallions, a brooch, a brooch knot , cufflinks, and a badge (small), and a necklace with three gold nuggets attached which, perhaps, belonged to Margaret Brown, a survivor of the shipwreck and commonly referred to as Molly Brown. The items, with the exception of a pocket watch, were found together in a leather bag during the first recovery expedition in 1987. “The chemicals used on the leather kept the microorganisms away,” explains Mark Lach, creative director of the exhibition.
