Yvone Christa’s third collection of 2014 combines an ancient technique and a very modern material: filigree, which brought fame to the Swedish design duo, once called “Venetian work”, and cubic zirconia, a synthetic stone that the most advanced technology has made very similar to diamonds. And what’s better than the light of a stone to make autumn shine? Thin threads of burnished 925 silver or plated with 22-carat gold, woven in a tulip motif that surround transparent gems in wisteria, emerald, cobalt, ice.
