Jewelry on time-sell sites is certainly nothing new, but no brand had ever thought of creating an exclusive line just for them. Unode50 has done so, offering on Vente-privée (from Wednesday 21 May) a capsule collection consisting of six bracelets and nine necklaces, at prices lower than the average of its similar products. The initiative aims to consolidate the international expansion strategy and can count on an audience of 21 million members spread across eight countries. The irony is that to access this type of platform you have to guarantee the availability of at least 20 thousand pieces, and not all companies have such production capacity. This is certainly not the case for the Spanish chain founded in 1997, which now has 51 stores in Spain and a network of points of sale in the main European cities such as Paris, Brussels, Antwerp, Amsterdam and Berlin, and is also present in New York and Los Angeles. In Italy it is in Milan, Rome, Florence, Parma, Turin and Trento. What makes you smile? The fact that the original business model was the creation of limited edition jewelry: no more than 50 pieces. And it is this concept of handmade, linked to the idea of owning a unique object that has made the brand successful. So much so that over time production has increased.
