Pandora launches a new kind of bracelet with the Reflexions collection, images and prices ♦ ︎

Pandora Revolution. After five years, the Danish brand launches a new kind of bracelet. The new model is called Pandora Reflexions and is completely different from the usual bracelets of the Maison. It is a flat and flexible bracelet in metal mesh: it is available in silver, Pandora Rose and Pandora Shine.

As in the other Pandora bracelets, you can also add to the Reflexions model some interchangeable pendants.

The pendants have small silicone elements that keep the charm fasten. The pendants are different from the usual: those in the Reflexions collection are more flat and more linear. In addition to the charms, you can also add small chains designed specifically for this collection. The style is very simple, almost minimal, with a Nordic touch. Prices: the simple silver bracelet 59 euros, but go up to 179 for the Shine, gold plated, and 149 for the pink one. The Shine chain costs 119 euros. A simple charm 39 euros. Tiffany in the African forest to defend wild animals from extinction. The commitment of the American Maison has lasted since last year and, with the applause of those who love nature, and was also renewed for 2018. For 2018 the collection is expanded with a new elephant-shaped brooch with pavé diamonds in a limited edition.

There are also new charms representing two further endangered species, the rhinoceros and the lion. 100% of the profits from the sale will be used to support the conservation of every threatened species.
From the first launch of the collection, in September 2017, the campaign led to the achievement of 1 million dollars in just the first four months. And with nearly $ 3 million donated to date, Tiffany & Co. tripled its initial minimum commitment to the Elephant Crisis Fund in support of #KnotOnMyPlanet, and promised a minimum additional 1 million to the Wildlife Conservation Network by December 2019.
The funds will go where the need is greatest for each of the three species, from anti-poaching efforts to initiatives to reduce demand for ivory and horn.

Vanitas, Latin word which means vanity. Needless. Because life is short and everything passes. With this heavy reflection the painters of the Renaissance and the subsequent Baroque period realized paintings with still lifes in which a skull was also represented, symbol of the transience of human existence. It was also a style in keeping with the spirituality of the time, maybe a little excessive for current tastes. But, curiously, the skull icon has continued to fascinate artists, albeit in another way. Four hundred years later, in fact, here is the hard rock, heavy metal music, or the neo romantics who use the skull with the intent to instill fear, even if there is nothing more vital than a band that plays on the stage in front to thousands of young people alive and happy.
