Two gold pendants depicting the famous models of Salvatore Ferragamo shoes.
Ferragamo has long decided that the shoes you can wear around their necks. Of course, not those leather signed by Tuscan designers and appreciated all over the world, but in smaller version: pendants that are inspired by successful models of Florence’s brand and that pay tribute, in particular, to the shoes created by Salvatore Ferragamo between the thirties and sixties. Thus was born the Miniature Preziose collection, which now expands with two new creations. The first novelty is the sandal pendant Gold, a model designed in 1956 by the designer for a major American sociality and made entirely of 18kt yellow gold. Carved and engraved with dragons and flowers, miniature faithfully reproduces the original model which was developed in collaboration with historians Florentine goldsmiths of Ponte Vecchio.
The sandal in gold with black Satin is, instead, playing a model created by the fashion house in 1940, with the famous Ferragamo wedge. Each pendant engraved brings the futuristic label for Ferragamo created by the painter Lucio Venna, the model name and date of creation. But do not try to wear them. Giulia Netrese
