Swarovski is 120 years old and is celebrating the anniversary with two new cuts for crystals: an edelweiss and the number eight placed horizontally, the symbol of infinity. The first, is a tribute to the roots of the company and its founder Daniel Swarovski, brilliant inventor in 1892 of a machine for cutting and polishing the famous Bohemian crystal, with a very high degree of perfection. Being born in one of the major centers of production and processing of glass, Bohemia, in fact, have helped the young Swarovski, but it was a trip to Vienna and visiting the Exhibition of electrical items to give the idea that would change his life.
