Catalan dessert for Elsa Peretti

For Elsa Peretti, a sweet Catalan cream. But it is not the famous gateau from the Iberian region. The Italian designer who moved to New York and is the soul of Tiffany received the Catalan National Culture Award in Barcelona. Elsa Peretti has been the designer of jewelry and home objects for Tiffany since 1974. And there is a link with Catalonia: Elsa Peretti has, in fact, supported the restoration of the church of the small town in the region and has collaborated with the Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya and the Museu d’Art Contemporani de Barcelona for the restoration of the photographic archives. The National Culture Award is the recognition established by the Catalan Government that is awarded every year to people or organizations that have distinguished themselves for their exceptional contribution in their respective cultural areas.
