Are you on holiday in the French Riviera? You should peep in the store of Graff in the Monte Carlo Casino. It is the only store one with direct access to the casino, where visitors enter through the famous staircase overlooking the Place. Now there is one more reason to visit it: the Hotel de Paris, located in the same square of the casino, until August 23, organizes an exhibition of rare jewelry and fine watches. It is not, however, an exposure which is much publicized: security reasons. After the millionaires theft in Cannes before, during and after the Film Festival, the fear remains strong. They do not even said exactly what are the most valuable pieces, but it is believed there is the diamond called Golden Emperess, of Graff. It is a large yellow diamond from 132.55 carats. A truly rarity, because only a stone on 10 thousand is colored in this way. The Golden Emperess was cut from a 299 carat rough stone discovered in the mine Letšeng in Lesotho. With stone-mother were cut even further eight diamond Fancy Yellow pear-shaped (the largest weighing 21 carats 34) and two with brilliant cut. Among other fancy yellow diamond collection Graff, the largest is called Delaire Sunrise and has an emerald cut, from 118.08 carats. And then, the Gemini Yellow respectively 51.29 and 55.74 carats, and Graff Vivid Yellow from 100.9 carats. The exhibition could also offer visitors the opportunity to admire The Fascination, the most expensive watch exposed at Baselworld last spring. It is a jewel of 152.96 carats, convertible in cuff with a ring, or watch. Federico Graglia
