From 1st to 4th September London is the jewelry capital. The British capital is in fact home to the IJL, International Jewellery London. And it is an important event for enthusiasts and operators in the sector. It is no coincidence that in Europe the British market is second only to Italy in terms of gold consumption and consumer demand. In the United Kingdom, jewelry is sold for 22.6 tonnes of gold, almost as much as in Italy, with 22.8 tonnes of gold. On the other hand, compared to Italy, there is a greater concentration of luxury jewelry sales. In the United Kingdom (like the American market), the purchase of jewelry on the occasion of engagements and weddings also has a strong impact. Finally, in the ranking of jewelery producers, Great Britain is in sixth place, together with India, China, Turkey, Italy and Saudi Arabia. So many good reasons to be curious. For those who can’t go to London, here are some preview images of what you can find.
