Imagine a jewel that notifies you of the messages your iPhone or Galaxy receives. Or that shows a video on your tablet. The idea is from a British company, Kiroco, and was awarded the Best Innovation of the Year Award at the Wearable Technology Conference and Expo. Kiroco has presented a series of interactive bracelets and necklaces, capable of exchanging messages between users through a smartphone app. The operation is simple: just place the smartphone or tablet on the jewel. Kiroco Touch technology, in fact, means that images, words or videos can be stored in a specific piece of the jewel, ensuring that only the owner can view the messages. These messages of words, images or videos can then be stored and saved in Kiroco Timeline, a sort of memory box for the user. The company explains with this example: imagine receiving a special jewel from your fiancé on your wedding day. Just touch this jewel to start a message addressed to your partner. For example: I love you, let’s get married. Okay, maybe it’s too important a message to entrust to a smartphone. But there are many other occasions, as shown in this video describing the possible uses of the interactive jewel.
