Oroarezzo is back (5-8 April), an international show dedicated to gold, jewellery and silverware. According to the organisers, despite the crisis, Oroarezzo is growing in terms of exhibitors (+15%), and this edition was sold out. There were around 500 companies representing all the Italian districts and 280 buyers. A new feature is Gold Up/future, an area in the shape of an ingot, with a selection of jewels from the Collezione Oro d’autore: the creations of 28 stylists, artists and designers, including Versace, Giorgio Armani, Dolce e Gabbana, Etro, Moschino, Giò Pomodoro, Ettore Sottsass, Salvatore Fiume, Enrico Baj, Dario Fo, made by historic companies. In 2013, Arezzo goldsmith companies saw an increase in exports of 21.47% compared to 2012, reaching approximately 35% of the total Italian goldsmith exports. Oroarezzo is reserved exclusively for professional operators: importers/exporters, wholesalers, chain stores and retailers. As part of Oroarezzo, Bi-Jewel is also repeated, a space entirely dedicated to the world of bijoux and fashion jewelry.
