All court tennis for Kulto 925

It’s called the Easy Diamond collection but, better to say it right away, don’t expect diamond jewelry. On the other hand, the prices of Kulto 925 bracelets and necklaces are really within reach of the wallet. The brand, which specializes in silver jewellery, uses cubic zirconia crystals for a series of tennis-style bracelets and necklaces. By the way, if you don’t remember why this type of jewel is called that, you can find out here.

In fact, tennis-type jewels have long been one of the brand’s proposals. For example, in addition to the classic tennis, i.e. with white stones, versions with light blue, pink, ruby red, emerald green and blue cubic zirconia are presented (64 euros). Or with combinations of emerald green and white, black and white, blue and white and magenta and white (59).

There is also the two-row tennis bracelet with white and baguette-cut blue, yellow and pink cubic zirconias (119). Finally, here are the heart-cut cubic zirconia crystals for the necklace and bracelet, also in two shades, blue and pink, as well as the total white version (necklace 119, bracelet 69).

The Firmament of Crieri

The firmament, that is the celestial vault – A romantic term to describe what for adtronomists is simply the stellar space. It is also the name used by Crieri for a collection that is inspired by the stars, but with the aim of creating jewels capable of symbolizing a piece of the night sky. The Firmamento collection consists of necklaces, bracelets and rings in the tennis style, which is the specialty of the Piedmontese Maison. The tennis motif, however, is reinterpreted with 18-karat white, pink or burnished gold. The stars that shine are white (on white gold), brown (on pink gold) or black (for burnished gold jewelry) diamonds.

The diamonds are set on the tennis surface by alternating higher carat, brilliant cut gems with other smaller diamonds. The bracelets are available in variants from one to seven strands, in a white gold version with white diamonds, in a pink gold version with brown and white diamonds and in a burnished gold version with contrasting black and white diamonds. The collection includes rings with three, five or seven threads, also in this case with the combination of the color of gold and diamonds. And to admire this firmament, no telescope is needed.

Kulto 925 tennis bracelets, with volée

Anyone who plays tennis knows that a match is made up of many different shots, which are also the expression of the player’s inspiration. Tennis bracelets may also be subject to some small variations, which testifies to the inventiveness in a model that is usually quite static. An example are the bracelets of Kulto 925, a brand of the Diffusione Orologi group (which also distributes OpsObjects bijoux). As it is easy to guess from the name of the brand itself, these are jewels in silver, in the natural color, or with yellow gold rhodium plating, with the classic soft shape of tennis bracelets.

The variant, in this case, concerns the stones used, white or colored cubic zirconia. Unlike the classic tennis bracelet, in fact, in this case the stones are cut in baguettes, that is, with a rectangular area. The bracelets offered at a price of 89 euros use stones of the same color, or alternating different shades (blue or green). This is also a variation of the game, as if it were a volée.

A jewelry slam for Serena Williams

It sounds strange, but in the jewelry collections launched a few years ago by Serena Williams there are no real tennis bracelets. Or, better, there is a jewel defined as a tennis bracelet, but which does not have the shape of the bracelet launched half a century ago by another tennis player, Chris Evert (find the history of tennis bracelets here). Serena Williams is also a great tennis player, who she has now decided to devote herself to something else. Also to jewels, in fact, with her brand Serena Williams Jewelry. The website through which the American tennis player sells jewelry under her name has recently undergone a redesign and has also launched a collection of high jewelry with diamonds and precious metals “ethically sourced and conflict-free”.

The collections have names inspired by the world of tennis: Queen of Your Court, which includes bracelets and necklaces defined as tennis, even if they do not follow the classic model. Unstoppable is the name of another collection, which alludes to Serena’s many tennis successes. The defined tennis shape could actually be defined as riviera, that is, with stones of different sizes to climb. The tennis star has also launched a line of costume jewelry called S by Serena.

Crieri on the rainbow

///

The discreet charm of the visible range of colors, that is, that of the rainbow, is transversal. Sooner or later everyone looks up to admire the arch in the sky colored by shades ranging from yellow to blue. An attraction that jewelers certainly do not shy away from, who in turn offer their own version of the rainbow suitable for wearing. One of these is the new Rainbow line by Crieri, a company from Valenza that offers an unprecedented tennis set. It should be added that the Piedmontese Maision is a specialist in tennis-type jewelry, even if it later expanded its offer to traditional jewelry as well.

The Rainbow line, in this case, is made with the use of multicolored sapphires set and placed next to each other and set around a circle with a rose gold setting. At the moment there are three jewels offered in the colors of the iris: an eternity-type ring, a necklace and a tennis bracelet.

Tennis TuttiFrutti with Poesia Gioielli

Today there is even more poetry in tennis-like jewels. The brand of the Valenza Crieri group, Poesia Gioielli, proposes the new TuttiFrutti collection, which adopts one of the classic models of jewelry, the tennis style. The brand is, however, dedicated above all to a young and innovative public. Hence, the tennis format is reinterpreted with jewels in 18-karat gold, diamonds, but also with red, blue, orange, pink, yellow and green stones. Nuances that give the collection its name. Rubies, or sapphires, tsavorites were used for the jewels. Set in yellow gold, the bracelets use nuance diamonds, while in the pink gold variant the diamonds are black or brown.

Cult bijoux. Or, more precisely, by Kulto 925, a brand of 925 silver jewelry, a number that is also reaffirmed in the name of the logo itself. By the way, for the uninitiated, silver jewelry with the number 925 indicates that it is an alloy composed of 92.5% silver and the remaining 7.5% copper (therefore, 925 parts out of 1000 of silver).

Tennis bracelet, who started the game?

/

Tennis bracelets are one of the most successful jewels: they are elegant and easy to wear. But do you know why they are called tennis bracelets? Their name comes from … ♦ ︎

Things to know: from time to time tennis bracelets appear in the collections. It is a type of bracelet that is usually made of gold and a row of diamonds, sometimes with other precious stones as well. The line of stones of the tennis bracelet is continuous even if, over time, other versions have also been proposed. But why is it called a tennis bracelet? Is it a piece of jewelry you need to play with rackets and balls? Who decided to call them that? What does Grand Slam sport have to do with it? Here is the answer: the tennis-like bracelet has a rather recent history. That is, it does not belong to those great traditions of jewelery, codified starting from the nineteenth century, but it established itself relatively recently. The tennis bracelet, in fact, was born in 1987, thanks to a tennis player.

Bracciale tennis di Morellato
Bracciale tennis di Morellato

The line of diamonds that has no beginning or end was actually associated with the desire for eternal love. In fact, originally, its name was just eternity bracelet, in analogy with the same type of ring. What does tennis have to do with it, then? Simple, this bracelet became famous because it was always worn by one of the best (some say even the best) tennis player, the American Chris Evert. To give an idea, Chris Evert remained consistently at the top of world tennis in the 1970s and 1980s, and was number one in the official rankings for seven years. Well, she loved eternity bracelets, which she often wore even during games. Indeed, we remember a funny episode: during a US Open match Chris lost a diamond bracelet signed Coronet. The game was then suspended to recover the precious jewel. Since that time the diamond bracelet has been called a tennis bracelet. In short, tennis has replaced eternity with a hit of the racket.

Crieri, tennis wide-ranging

Since its birth (which took place in 2005 thanks to Alessandro Saracino and Cristiano Annaratone) the Crieri brand has become a specialist in tennis bracelets on the jewelery market (see Tennis bracelets, story of a match). The company, among other things, is also strong with a registered patent. The Valencian brand specializing in diamond-based jewelry, however, has decided to take the field to play a game without barriers. The tennis genre, in short, expands to jewels such as cross-shaped pendants, which are flanked by bracelets and necklaces with the typical succession of diamonds that characterize the tennis model. Not only that: here are rings and earrings that, without abandoning the style of the Maison, broaden the horizon.

There are, then, pieces that stand out, such as the necklace of brilliant-cut white diamonds mounted on white gold, or the wide bracelet that, instead, uses yellow gold. Speaking of colors: the diamonds used are not always white. Yellow, black or brown stones appear on some collections. An example of Crieri’s production is the Musa collection, which includes tennis bracelets, but also trinity or rievière rings, bracelets and traditional earrings in white gold and diamonds.

New Face Cube tennis bracelets by Recarlo

Black diamonds in contrast with the white ones. And band rings that hide invisible micro springs inside them, which allow the jewel to widen by approximately three sizes, with the thanks of those who find their hands a little swollen in the evening. Recarlo launched the Face Cube collection just a year ago, in 2019, but now it updates the jewelry line with new proposals. In particular, the Maison of Valenza has added new tennis bracelets with an original shape. Those with a chain, in particular, are to be considered an alternative to classic tennis bracelets.

For this reason tennis bracelets are also available at a very affordable price, such as those in the Tesori di Morellato collection. The bracelets are in 925 ‰ silver and instead of diamonds they use cubic zirconia, stones mounted in rivière, that is, to climb, either in the classic version or with a heart or central star. The future of Crieri

The Future Collection of Crieri: tennis bracelets, rings and gold earrings in four colors ♦ ︎
Presented time ago with great emphasis, the Futura collection of Crieri seems to be still topical for the foreseeable future. It’s not a game of words: the company of Valenza points to the concept of luxury jewelery, but sporty. Innovative jewels, but at the same time not linked to passage modes. Quality jewels, but with affordable all-round prices. But the most obvious aspect is the stylistic choice of the company, born in 2005 at the initiative of Alessandro Saracino and Cristiano Annaratone, namely the idea of pointing everything as tennis bracelet. And after the bracelet, earrings, necklaces or rings made with the same criterion. The tennis bracelet (see also: Tennis Bracelets, story of a game) is, in short, the archetype around which collections are made, like Futura. In particular, in this line of jewels, gold has proposed in four colors: in addition to yellow, white and pink also black or black, or better, burnished. And even classic diamonds can be black on some occasions. The stones are also lined up to climb and can cross the golden band from side to side as in a spiral. Giulia Netrese
