The elastic (and guaranteed) Cashmere by Roberto Demeglio

//

The Roberto Demeglio brand owes much of its fame to ceramic jewels. The other part (of notoriety) concerns the elasticized and patented system that it uses to make rings and bracelets comfortable and easy to wear. This aspect, however, also concerns jewels that are not ceramic, such as those in the Cashmere collection. The collection includes tennis-type bracelets and elastic rings, thanks to a small hidden spring, in 18-karat gold with diamonds, which adapt to the shape of the hand and wrist. What if the jewel with the spring breaks? The system adopted is quite safe, so much so that Roberto Demeglio offers a lifetime guarantee on the 18-karat gold elasticated bracelets and rings with diamonds from the Cashmere collection.

The Cashmere collection is added to the others of the goldsmith workshop based in Turin, born in 1984, but which has been producing with its own brand since 2005. Even if the history of the company has deeper roots: it was the jeweler’s grandfather who opened in Piedmontese city, in 1922, the first Demeglio store. Today the company, which also makes use of the work of the founder’s wife, Simona Demeglio, in addition to offering its collections also works on behalf of third parties.

Roberto Demeglio plays Chess

Roberto Demeglio presents Scacco, a collection of bracelets and rings in ceramic, gold and diamonds ♦

Scacco: black and white square, or other opposite colors, which alternate. Chess also indicates an ancient and intelligent game of Persian origin. And now, even a jewelry collection. The line of jewelery presented by Roberto Demeglio at Baselworld is called Scacco. And, not surprisingly, the collection arrives ten years after the one dedicated to another game, the Domino. Scacco is an evolution of Domino, and also of the other connotative collection, Pura. Easy to guess the geometric motif of the collection. Maybe chess? You guessed it.

The alternation of colors and the creation of bracelets or rings made of tiles is part of the style of the Turin Maison.

Like the other collections that have made the brand famous, Scacco is composed of ceramic elements assembled on a patented indestructible system, which makes each piece flexible and elastic. Each piece is so adaptable to the wearer’s wrist or finger: not a minor aspect for those who want to wear a jewel all day long. Next to white or black ceramic, Scacco uses gold, white or pink, and a fine pavé of diamonds that can also cover the entire surface of the jewel. Giulia Netrese

Roberto Demeglio, golden purity

The Pura Oro collection by Roberto Demeglio: bracelets and rings with an elastic mechanism that makes them flexible ♦ ︎

Pure as water, pure as youth, pure (above all) like gold. It’s named Pura Oro the Roberto Demeglio collection that introduces in its catalog the most classic metal of jewelery. Yes, because the specialty of the Turin Maison is ceramics, used together with precious stones and worked ad hoc for jewelry.

The Pura Oro collection is instead made of gold and diamonds: it is added to the previous line called simply Pura and is made of ceramic.

The design of the jewelry recalls that of the other Roberto Demeglio collections, but this time in gold, in the three classic colors yellow, pink or white. In addition to the metal, white and brown diamonds are added. Like the other Roberto Demeglio collections, the Pura collection consists of elements mounted on springs in stainless steel with a patented anti-breaking mechanism, which guarantees comfort for the wearer. The Pura Oro collection is available in two sizes and includes bracelets and elastic rings. Alessia Mongrando

Hi-tech tennis for Roberto Demeglio

Roberto Demeglio, plays tennis with ceramic bracelets and rings, diamonds, sapphires or rubies ♦︎
Pure elegance. Pure fantasy. Pure passion. These may have been the ideas that the jeweler of Turin Roberto Demeglio had in mind when he created the Pura collection. Now the designer has innovated the line of jewelery using his particularly original (and patented) technique. Pura evolution has black and white tennis bracelet variants that take on a more fashionable look. They are introduced in the collection of white and black diamonds sequentially embedded on individual hi-tech ceramic elements. The approach of the stones with white or black ceramic, proposed with glossy or satin finish, creates a continuity effect or, conversely, a contrast in the tones.
There are not only diamonds. Ceramic, a very durable material, also has sapphires in the three shades of blue, yellow and pink, as well as rubies. From the basic version with a single castone, the collection offers many declinations, to the most precious one in which each ceramic element is decorated with a stone, mounted in a white gold castor or yellow gold, authentic chest.

The Mona Lisa by Roberto Demeglio

Necklaces and bracelets in the Monnalisa collection by Roberto Demeglio: diamonds, sapphires and rubies.
The Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci is also famous for its ambiguous smile. In the collection Monnalisa by Roberto Demeglio, on the contrary, there is nothing unclear: it is designed around the special processing torchon “that makes sinuous, refined and enveloping.” Not by chance was ranked among the three finalists in the category Diamonds Above 20K to Las Vegas Couture Design Awards 2016, an annual event and a reference point at the global level in the High Jewelry and luxury. The Turin brand, among other things, emphasizes that the spring structure protected is covered by international patent. The technical solution of these jewels (and other by Roberto Demeglio) is in an elastic structure formed by steel springs that ensures flexibility, portability and strength. There are three color versions of this jewel: black and white, or with red and blue. Necklace and bracelet with white diamonds and blacks, total 6770 stones in the necklace and 1247 the bracelet, are particularly elegant to wear for an evening. The other two versions are made with diamonds and rubies or sapphires. Alessia Mongrando

It widens the Aura by Roberto Demeglio

The Aura collection, by Roberto Demeglio, made with gold and ceramic (https://gioiellis.com/aura-figlia-di-oro-e-ceramica) continues to grow. And with a few months of age more than at birth, evolves, it changes shape. But without losing the roundness that marked the debut of the collection. The gilding of high-tech ceramics, obtained through a patent-protected system, is divided into bracelets, rings, earrings and pendants that have sinuous curves, in several volumes. The jewelry is available in yellow gold variants, pink and white, which combined with ceramic, black and white, offer a contrast that does not go unnoticed, thanks to the network of diamond shapes created by the alternation of black and white ceramic with glossy or matte finishes, and gold in the three variants of colors of gold. Despite the sculptural aspect, rings and bracelets are easy to wear thanks to a hidden spring elastic system, also protected by this patent, which makes it easier to fit the jewelry. Lavinia Andorno

A kiss from Roberto Demeglio

On the eve of Baselworld, some Maison anticipates some new stuff for the trade fair for watches and jewelery: as Roberto Demeglio who to the Swiss festival will show Joy, collection of bracelets and rings. The designer from Turin with a long tradition emphasizes, first of all, the ring with the mouth, made with red rubies. The inspiration is from the full lips of Angelina Jolie, says Demeglio. The Joy ring is available in two sizes, up to 3.83 carats. It is mounted on a spring system covered by hundreds of small pink gold rings: in this way is better suited to the size of the fingers. With the same system of small flexible rings is the Fatima version, the classic oriental hand in rose gold, blacks and whites diamond, rubies, while the mouth is also used for the Joy bracelet. There are, also, the shape of a cross and the eye, in shape ring or bracelet, always mounted on the spring structure and in the three gold color variants. The Evil Eye, to ward off bad luck and the Hand of Fatima are made with white diamonds, blacks and brown, rubies and sapphires. Lavinia Andorno

Demeglio gioca a Domino

Among the news of Baselworld there are also the creations of the Domino collection of designer Roberto Demeglio, Jeweler Manufacturing Precious Turin, in Valenza. Last year Demeglio received the first prize in the men’s jewelry section of the exhibition in Switzerland. This year, who knows? But he created the Domino collection, decò style, with optical white and black which are crossed by the white and pink juxtaposed with diamonds.
