L’idea di uno smartphone-gioiello è dell’italo-americano Alessandro Savelli, 34 anni. La sua azienda di gioielli e orologi, che ha radici in Italia e sede a Ginevra, ha progettato un dispositivo che all’interno è un classico telefono con touch-screen. Ma il marchio Savelli, che ha scelto di fare base in Svizzera anche per la vicinanza con le aziende di alta orologeria, ha fatto di più: ha creato una linea di smartphone, Jardin Sĕcret, con oro bianco e rosa, smeraldi, diamanti, geme e raffinati pellami.
Il telefono ha sistema operativo Android e 32 gb di memoria, sufficiente per archiviare un sacco di foto e musica. Ma soprattutto, si nota. La prima collezione, presentata due anni fa, comprendeva 11 modelli. L’accoglienza è stata incoraggiante, perché dietro la tecnologia c’è una lavorazione artigianale di alta qualità. Per le lavorazioni delle pietre e l’incastonatura, per esempio, Savelli utilizza il laboratorio ginevrino che fa gli orologi di alta gamma per Chanel.
