She works in Vicenza, in a city not far from the sea of Venice. And, in fact, Claudia Piaserico, designer of Misis, loves beaches and waves. But also travel, as is the tradition of the ancient republic of Venice, which in the past created its wealth on trade between East and West. The Africa Queen collection, however, went even further with inspiration from the great continent. And the elements of the African imagination have been transfused into jewels that use gilded silver, crystals and semi-precious stones, such as agate and citrine. Zebras, giraffes and some textures reminiscent of the spotted skins of African animals are shapes used for the collection.

Claudia Piaserico, designer of Misis, in the company run by her brother Alberto, has inherited the passion for jewelry from her parents, Bruno and Ester. But she, curiously, she had decided to become a lawyer, before feeling the inner call to the family business. Her collections are certainly original, full of imagination and far from the classic canons, but they manage to remain within an affordable price range.

In Greek mythology it is the goddess of hunting, wild animals, archery. But also of forests and fields, of female initiations, protector of virginity and modesty. Artemis, daughter of Zeus and Latona, twin sister of Apollo, is one of the most ancient deities of mythology, also because it represents such different and central aspects of life in antiquity.

But Artemide is also a collection of Misis, a Venetian brand specialized in gold-plated silver jewelery.

The jewels in this collection are made of gold-plated silver, white zircons, black enamel, or onyx and an orange natural shell. Prices: from 75 to 260 euros. By Misis a super collection inspired architecture. Atrium is divided into three lines: Empire, Versailles and Ermitage.
Misis, a company from Vicenza, operates in an area famous not only for jewelry, but also for the architecture: the work of Palladio is still admired and imitated. No wonder, then, that the new collection by Misis is inspired by the architecture. The jewelry line is boundless: a lot of pieces, and it’s called Atrium. In truth, however, is not at all inspired by the work of Palladio Neoclassical, but with different architectures: the Maison offers as example “colored and curved stucco of a baroque hall of Elizabethan tsarist era, the walls of a building Art Deco, the alternation of black and white in the floor of a Renaissance palace. ”
This architectural excitement distinguish different lines. Empire is essential, with enamels, uniforms and materials, which include the Decorative art vintage shades start Century.
