The Bueren family, of German origin, moved to Bangkog in 1962 and founded Lotus Arts de Vivre. The initiative of Helen von Bueren was then continued by her sons Sri and Nicki. Unlike what one might imagine, the Maison’s goal was not to use the artisan skills of Thai goldsmiths to create European-style jewels at a lower cost. The jewels of Lotus Arts de Vivre are, instead, artistic creations that preserve the culture of ancient Siam, the Asian tradition and are inspired by the beauties of nature.

Born as a hobby, the Maison founded of Helen von Bueren has grown to become a success story. With no need to advertise, Lotus Arts de Vivre achieved success mainly through word of mouth. The brand is also committed to producing its creations with the largest possible number of natural materials, with the aim of transferring the beauty of nature to jewelry. For example, next to metals and precious stones, sometimes jewels use seeds, claws, walnuts, coconut shells, purebred skin, ostrich and emu eggs, beetle wings, ebony and teal woods, shells, bamboo and rattan.

Lotus Arts de Vivre is also proud to have resisted the temptation to enter mass production: instead, it remains a predominantly one-of-a-kind jewelery manufacturer. Festina Italia celebrates the 2022 accounts

2022 was a positive year for the Italian branch of the Festina Group, which recorded a 7.63% growth in net revenues compared to 2021. The Italian headquarters of the Spanish multinational company for the Festina brand alone recorded a 13% increase. growth that involves all sales channels, with +4.5% of normal trade and, the company points out, records considerable numbers for all brands, with a total turnover of 15.6 million euros.

The growth of the Italian branch of Festina, in terms of market shares and volumes, is the result of fruitful teamwork and the unceasing commitment of passionate people, who work with great dedication every day to implement shared projects and achieve the ambitious corporate goals. White is the color of snow, but is also of the most classic diamonds. Perhaps this is why Van Cleef & Arpels has decided to celebrate the most renowned and desired precious stone with Souffle de Diamants. The edition 2018 by the great Maison event, coincides with the months of winter festivities and snowfalls: in fact, it’s from November 2017 to mid-January 2018.
The jewels are, of course, exclusively made of gold and diamonds. The novelties are inside the lines Lotus and Frivole, in both cases with light, fresh, bright flowers with extensive use of pavé with diamonds. But there is also a technological aspect, a sign of the times: the five most representative boutiques of Van Cleef & Arpels will be equipped with an interactive mirror. On the occasion of Souffle de Diamants, the Maison also reveals a reinterpretation of the emblematic Bague Entre les Doigts Lotus, a ring with a smooth body and accentuated tunnel motifs to optimize the circulation of light.
