Fope opens in Tokyo

Fope opens the first flagship store in Asia, in Ginza, Tokyo’s luxury shopping district. For the Venetian company, this is a record opening, given that it has been present on the Japanese market for only three years, which, as the president of Fope, Umberto Cazzola underlined, are marked by the covid and related lockdowns. The Fope store is on two levels, for a sales space of 100 square meters on the ground floor, plus an 89 square meter coffee point on the first floor, a single area designed to prolong the shopping experience while remaining open outside outside opening hours.

Arched architecture and design have been designed with characteristics inspired by the Italian style: facade and cladding in light colors, white and two shades of green, and assembled in separate segments. The pyramid-shaped profiles recall historic Renaissance palaces. There are three separate areas within the Fope store, each with a distinct function. A showcase uses the double corner view. The sales floor is located in the central area, and a more intimate VIP room has been created inside, characterized by a mirrored ceiling. The new store joins other Fope flagship locations in Venice, London, Dubai, Kuala Lumpur and Isola Bella, a seasonal boutique on Lake Maggiore, Italy.

Roberto Coin opens in Bahrain

After Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, Roberto Coin also brings his jewels to Bahrain. The Italian Maison focuses on the Gulf and together with the local partner Bahrain Jewelery Center opens a store inside the Bahrain World Trade Center (Moda Mall – Unit 18A). The Bahrain World Trade Center is 240 meters high and is located in Manama in the capital of the emirate. Built in 2008, it is also the first skyscraper in the world to integrate wind turbines into its structure. The new space was designed by Roberto Coin with his historic collaborator Giulio Miliotti Sclavi (Studio Sclavi).

The design of this new boutique recreates the atmosphere of the Italian living room with the green tone of the brand as the main color. The hazelnut color of the walls was created using Gritti Wall wallpaper, while the fabrics of the furnishings with the Venetian brand Rubelli. The unusual shade of pink called crystal gray is the color of the armchairs and sofas in the VIP room. To complete the luxurious atmosphere there is no shortage of gold, marble, carpeting and chandeliers by Vistosi di Murano.

PdPaola grows and opens in Madrid




Born in Barcelona, ​​she grows up in Madrid. PdPaola, an accessible jewelery brand founded by the brothers Paola and Humbert Sasplugas in 2014, opens a new flagship store in the Spanish capital, in calle Claudio Coello 44, in the Salamanca district, one of the city’s luxury shopping areas. The store has a geometric stone-effect counter in the center, which contrasts with a glossy yellow floor and a palette of warm tones. The store is divided on two floors with different areas, dedicated to jewelry, but also a nail salon.

The brand is constantly growing: last year it reached revenues of almost 30 million euros. PdPaola is available in approximately 2,000 stores in over ten international markets through its wholesale system. With the growth of the brand, its staff has also expanded (30% more than in 2020) with over 80 employees, 74% of whom are women. The company expects to close 2022 with a turnover of 52 million euros and will continue to focus on its international expansion with the opening of new stores and flagship stores.

Fope opens in London this November





Fope prepares this November opening of a flagship store in central London ♦

From Vicenza to Venice. And from Venice to London. Fope, the only Italian jewelery company listed on the stock exchange, has decided to open a single-brand boutique in the British capital by 2019, right in Bond Street on the corner of Piccadilly, one of the areas with the highest influx of tourists. Evidently Brexit does not scare the Fope CEO, Diego Nardin.
The Italian brand, in fact, is already present in the United Kingdom: Fope jewels are distributed in over 100 stores. And last year, sales in His Majesty’s realm accounted for 20% of Fope’s total turnover.

Boccadamo, a silver bijoux brand, goes all the way to China. Tonino Boccadamo’s company took its first steps into the Chinese market by signing an important agreement with the distribution company Omeia.

After the pilot project of the showroom trade in Shenzhen, a city near Hong Kong, Boccadamo celebrated the inauguration of two single-brand stores. The first is located inside the International Plaza of the city of Wuhan, a commercial center in Central China. The second, in Hangzhou, in the capital of Zhejiang province, on the outskirts of Beijing, within Li Xing Department Store, 100 meters from West Lake.
To the two store openings in China, there are also two flagship stores in the Philippines: within the SM City North Edsa, in Quezon City, and in the Venice Grand Canal Mall of Taguig City.
