Diva Gioielli’s silver diamonds

Buying a diamond without buying a diamond. It is not a contradiction, provided that instead of a stone you choose the Diamante collection by Diva Gioielli. But, despite the name, there is no need to get confused: the jewels of the collection are not set with diamonds. Instead, they are made of silver, the house specialty. But, optionally, they can also be obtained with a gold plating. So how do you explain the name of the collection? Simple: the particular processing of the metal, silver, is called diamond coating.

Diamonds, in this case, are used at a certain point in the process and are used to make the silver shine. To obtain this effect, obtained by hand processing, after having treated the silver jewel with an iced liquid, diamond points are used (it is the hardest material on earth) to remove a tiny portion of the metal on the surface. In this way a mirror facet is obtained, which reflects the light. In this case, thanks to this process, Diva has obtained particularly reflective necklaces, earrings, bracelets and rings.

The new collection by Diva Gioielli, Orbita: images and prices ♦ ︎
Going orbiting, in figurative sense means also being euphoric. A very pleasant condition. And even an aspect that reaches geometric perfection: perfectly round elliptical, the orbit of a planet is the form of maximum balance. Perhaps with these considerations in mind, Diva Gioielli launches a collection in VicenzaOro September that is called Orbita. It goes without saying that the whole line of the 18 jewels adopts circular shape. Jewelery has a contrast finish (the tubular rim is scratched, while the little barr it is polished). Jewelery is rhodium plated in silver, gold and gold plated.

Chains, chains, chains: 150 jewelry made with interlaced rings in the exhibition Scatenata (Unchained), in Milan.
If you love jewelry made with chains, Homi has opened in Milan Scatenata (Unchained), exhibition of 150 pieces made of intersecting circles. It would have been strange if the show had not been curated by Alba Cappellieri, a professor of Jewellery Design and the Attachment to the Politecnico di Milano, already active in the Museum of the Jewel of Vicenza. The chains on display have the most varied backgrounds: they are made by artisans, artists, designers and established brands. They are the result of goldsmith skills, but also of use of innovative materials, by hand or by machine. And for the uninitiated, the chain there is not just one type. In VicenzaOro shine the Sixties, by Diva Gioielli, brand that was born at the end of the decade, about 40 years ago. The Piper Club collection is inspired by that era, characterized mainly by the revolution of music and behavor: the name is that of the popular nightclub in Rome, where rock and pop have taken the first steps in Italy. The collection consists of 16 silver jewelry 925. The style of jewelry is inspired by the one in vogue at the time: flat discs, round portholes and overtures resemble large jewelry loved by young people in those years. Rings, necklaces, earrings and pins over are made in different finishes, from polished rhodium plating gold, rose gold and silver version scratched. The processing is artisanal. The Diva’s Olla

In nature the olla is a round cavity, a small lake where spring water emerges through the will of man, but in the collection designed by Diva Gioielli, Udine based company specialized in the manufacturing of jewelry in sterling silver 925, this element has instead the form of a macro cylinder. The olla sourrounds a cubic zirconia as if it were a spring water typical of the Friuli’s flatlands. The jewel is also available in gold plated 23.5 carat, Rhodium rose gold or brown.
