Diamonds and freedom in the new Messika collection

Exceptional diamonds and jewels transported to the wild West: it’s the Born to Be Wild collection by Messika ♦

So far, Born to Be Wild has been the title of a historical song by Steppenwolf, also well known for being part of the soundtrack of the movie Easy Rider. But from now on, however, Born to Be Wild will also be associated with fine jewelry. And, with an unusual link, a high jewelery sported in the American Wild West.

The queen of diamonds, Messika, has decided to call in this way her impressive collection, presented at Baselworld 2019 in a themed installation.

Messika, linea Black Hawk collection

So much so that a photo shoot sets the exceptional collection in the spaces usually reserved (in the movies) for incursions of native Indians, galloping cowboys, runaway bandits and so on. The collection is very wide and includes different lines, such as Snake Dance, Black Hawk, Diamond Catcher, Shaman Shield, Sun Tribe, Wild Moon.

Messika, Black Hawk

Curiously, it seems that these super jewels are at ease in the midst of natural spaces, strong colors and wild nature. It is a similar, but opposite, contrast to what one feels when an element of nature, for example a ferocious animal, is transported to a civilized environment.

I like to travel, I wanted to instill a state of mind that alludes to feeling of escape. Between fantasy and imagination, the desert acts upon mankind like a great revealer, living up to and surpassing itself. The North American desert, more than any other, leaves one speechless; making you feel like one and someone at the same time…”

A egg of 13.8 million

An oval diamond of over 88 carats sold by Sotheby’s for 13.8 million dollars in Hong Kong ♦ ︎

Big diamonds are forever, at least in auctions. The spectacular new confirmation comes from Hong Kong, where a spectacular oval brilliant diamond of 88.22 carats, D Color, Flawless, Type IIa, perfect according to every critical criterion, was sold at the Magnificent Jewels auction for 13,8 millions dollars, or 12.3 million euros. The diamond was one of only three oval diamonds of over 50 carats auctioned, and the largest for over five years. It was bought by a private Japanese collector, who admired it when the stone was on display in Japan, in the usual road show that precedes sales of this type.

After paying a similar sum, the collector took the satisfaction of baptizing the diamond, now called Manami Star. Manami is the name of the eldest daughter.

The diamond was contested by three bidders and started with a valuation between 11.2 and 12.7 million dollars, which it exceeded. The price per carat is $ 156,150.

We were thrilled to handle a diamond of such rarity, which now takes its place in the roster of top white diamonds to have come to the market here at Sotheby’s Asia. Three clients from the region competed for the stone – testament to the strong demand for diamonds of this quality in this part of the world. At 88.22 carats, this lucky stone now carries the name of the fortunate child whose father has chosen to give it her name. A happy moment in the journey of one of the earth’s greatest, oldest treasures.
Patti Wong, president of Sotheby’s in Asia

Perfect according to each critical criterion, the diamond has reached the highest rankings based on each of the standards with which the quality of a stone (the four Cs) is judged. The diamond is the color D (the highest grade for a white diamond); of exceptional clarity (it is completely flawless, both internally and externally), and has an excellent gloss and symmetry. As with the Koh-i-noor diamond (also oval) and the Cullinan I, which are part of the British Crown Jewels, the stone belongs to the rare sub-group which includes less than 2% of all gemmed diamonds, known as Type IIa . The diamonds of this group are the most chemically pure type of diamond and often have an exceptional optical transparency.

Finding a rough diamond that allows those who cut it to shape a stone over 80 carats is very rare. The 242-carat rough stone that produced the diamond was discovered in Botswana in the Jwaneng mine, a mine owned by De Beers and the Botswana government, known for the production of high quality raw materials. After its discovery, the rough diamond was cut and polished for months. Given the elongated shape of the rough stone, the oval shape was chosen to preserve the greatest amount of weight. A great skill and precision was needed to cut a stone of this importance: a level of experience and mastery possessed by only a small handful of cutters from all over the world.

In the same auction, a ring with sapphire and diamonds was sold for 2.4 million dollars, another ring with pear-cut diamond and pink diamonds was sold for 1.7 million, while a necklace of diamonds and emeralds by Van Cleef & Arpels found a buyer for $ 1.1 million. Also noteworthy is a pair of diamond and sapphire earrings, also worth over a million US dollars, as well as an emerald and diamond ring. Federico Graglia

Sutra spurts Scintillae

Sutra presents the Scintillae collection: white and black diamonds, emerald and sapphires that make up a brilliant mosaic ♦ ︎

What links Michelle Obama, Katy Perry, Jennifer Lopez, Halle Berry, Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, Adriana Lima, Catharine-Zeta Jones, Oprah, Olivia Wilde and Mila Kunis? Admiration for the work of another woman, the designer Arpita Navlakha. She is founder of Sutra, a company based in Mumbai and Texas, specialized in wow jewelry. Large stones, brilliant stones, colored stones, stones that make up geometries, stones that can be seen even at a distance of 100 meters, catwalk stones: Sutra’s jewels are the opposite of invisibility.

At Baselworld the Maison presented many new features, including the Scintillae collection.

Scintillae, in fact, in Latin indicates a tiny luminous glow, a small flash like that of a firework. The name chosen is quite surprising if we consider the language, but it is guessed by the relevance to the subject, that is the jewels. In fact, earrings, bracelet and ring get sparking. The jewels use white and black diamonds, emerald and sapphires for a contrasting effect that increases the sparkling power of the stones. Also because diamonds are composed in mosaics supported by almost invisible prongs.

New scale for artificial diamonds

Artificial diamonds classified as natural stones: the authoritative Hrd Antwerp has decided ♦ ︎

Hrd Antwerp has become today leading authority on diamond certification. In addition to Antwerp, this institution also has laboratories in Mumbai and Istanbul, which use the most sophisticated technology and rely on the vast experience of internal research department. Now Hrd Antwerp has decided to take a step that will make experts discuss: it has started to evaluate laboratory-produced diamonds using the same method as natural ones. In short, synthetic diamonds will be classified according to the criteria common to natural stones to establish color and clarity.

It is not a trivial initiative: it means taking another step towards equating synthetic diamonds with natural ones.

Analisi di un diamante
Analisi di un diamante

For the color, previously the synthetic diamonds were classified only in five degrees. A synthetic diamond was therefore classified as colorless, near colorless, faint, very light and light. Now, instead, we move on to the 13 categories used for natural diamonds, ranging from D (the most colorless) to M, plus NO, PR and SZ. The same goes for clarity: it goes from five degrees to the ten that are applied to natural diamonds.
The choice of the Belgian institute constitutes a new stage in the diatribe that concerns how to classify laboratory-born diamonds. Gemological Institute of America, Gia, for example, has so far continued to use a limited rating scale, which does not consider the 4C canonics, since the mix of the chemical composition of natural stone is slightly different. But it also studies a change in the near future. Will follow in the footsteps of Hrd Antwerp? Federico Graglia

The stars that shine with Djula

/

From Katy Perry to Lady Gaga: that’s why the stars wear the jewels of the Parisian Maison Djula ♦ ︎

The last stars to wear them were Katy Perry and Lady Gaga. But the list of actresses or singers who have chosen to show off, on the red carpet, with Djula’s jewelry is long. And there’s a reason why: the Paris Maison has chosen to run on two parallel streets: the beautiful jewelry, but not with price impossible (for normal people), but also high jewelry, unique pieces to wear for exceptional occasions like, precisely , a catwalk for festivals or gala dinners. But, even for the jewels of the stars, Djula does not lose its characteristic acquired at the time of birth, more than two decades ago: propose jewelry in glam rock style, as are defined by the founder, Alexandre Corrot.

Diamonds together with a special design, with geometric lines and many reflections, as for the single earring worn by Katy Perry. Or choc choices, like the barbed wire collection.

Katy Perry con orecchino by Djula
Katy Perry con orecchino by Djula

To do this, Djula uses diamonds for G VS1 quality micro pavé (with tiny inclusions), pear-shaped, marquise diamonds or VS2 quality baguettes (slight inclusions). In short, diamonds with a good quality-price ratio. And, underlines the company, diamonds and precious stones come from areas not in conflict. But it is probably the pleasure to wear something luxurious, but also different and a bit ‘transgressive that appeals to the stars who wear the jewels of the Maison of Faubourg Saint-Honoré. The war of synthetic diamonds

/

The diamond lab war breaks out: De Beers cuts prices by 60%, the other producers accuse it of unfair competition ♦ ︎

When prices fall, buyers are happy, but those who sell are not happy. Not only that, they will be not happy even those who have bought down the product that is now sold at a lower cost. What if it’s about diamonds? It’s the same thing.
The news concerns the laboratory diamonds, synthetic, which are the disruptive phenomenon in the world of jewelry. The CEO of De Beers, Bruce Cleaver, told Reuters that the wholesale prices of diamonds developed in the laboratory have decreased by up to 60% since his company started selling synthetic stones for jewelry, that is, from September.

The manager compares the price of diamonds with that of flat-screen televisions: at the beginning they were very expensive, today they have prices for everyone.

Bruce Cleaver
Bruce Cleaver

Is this really the story of synthetic diamonds? Sold until recently with a price only slightly lower than natural stones, synthetic diamonds were driven by the marketing of producers as ethical products. To produce synthetic diamonds you do not need to dig mountains, move land, mobilize populations of the third world. But it could be argued that to produce synthetic diamonds a river of electricity is needed, which is not created from nothing, but from power plants that consume oil, coal or uranium. And that the work of miner is dangerous and tiring, but it is always better than nothing for some populations.

Any case, De Beers launched his Lightbox jewelry brand in September, with artificially produced diamonds, and described the decision as a success in his latest financial report. Other producers of synthetic diamonds, however, have questioned the strategy developed by De Beers, accusing the brand of selling below cost. In short, the lab diamond war seems to have just begun. 12 million for one oval

/

A large 88-carat oval diamond will be auctioned at Sotheby’s ♦ ︎

Lovers of large gemstones have a date to mark on the calendar: 2 April. On that day, in Hong Kong, Sotheby’s will put an oval diamond defined as “perfect according to each criterion”. It is, in fact, a stone not common: it is an oval diamond of type IIa of 88.22 carats, color D. The diamond was made from a raw stone of 242 carats mined in the De Beers mine, in Jwaneng, in Botswana. The stone is valued between 11.2 and 12.7 million dollars.

A curious aspect is that the sale in Hong Kong also has a superstitious reason.

Il diamante ovale da 88 carati messo all'asta
Il diamante ovale da 88 carati messo all’asta

The stone weighs 88 carats and the number eight in Asia is considered lucky: it is also a symbol of perfection and eternity. A double 8 is therefore considered a super lucky charm. Last year, in April 2018, Sotheby sold a 102.34 carat white diamond, but without communicating the price. And two impeccable D-type diamonds of color D, weighing 51.71 carats and 50.39 carats, were sold in Geneva for $ 9.3 million and $ 8.1 million.

Anabela Chan, masterpieces with synthetic diamonds

//

Three masterpiece jewels created by Anabela Chan with the synthetic stones of Diamond Foundry ♦ ︎

If you still think that the diamonds created in the laboratory, synthetic, are a simple copy of the natural ones, to be used for a solitaire, you have to change your mind. London designer Anabela Chan, jewel architect and artist, gave a demonstration of what can be done with mechanically produced diamonds. In particular, with Diamond Foundry’s diamonds, the Californian company that also has Leonardo DiCaprio among its shareholders.

Anabela Chan designed with colorless, synthetic diamonds, a mini collection of three pieces. But they are three small masterpieces.

This is high jewelry, although diamonds are synthetic. For the three pieces, the designer used a total of 677 diamonds, over 29 carats, all created by Diamond Foundry. The price, understandably, is on request. The collection was inspired by the orchid flower. And at the Golden Globe in 2019 the jewels are worn by the Golden Globe winner Patricia Arquette.

It is about offering genuinely sustainable and ethical jewels that are stimulating and beautifully made with the highest level of high craftsmanship; works of art that are worn, loved and appreciated forever.

In Italy diamonds under investigation

/

The investigation on the sale of diamonds by four banks has come back. There is a suspicion of the usual scam to the customers. But on gioiellis.com we talked about it already in 2016 … ♦

Big surprise, but only for those who do not follow gioiellis.com: the investigation on the alleged fraud in the sale of diamonds has also revealed victims, so to speak, very well known, such as Vasco Rossi, Federica Panicucci, Simona Tagli and Diana Bracco. The news is that, three years after what we had written, the Guardia di Finanza performed a preventive seizure of over 700 million euro. In the investigation, Banco Bpm, Banca Aletti, Unicredit, Intesa Sanpaolo and Mps are investigated.

It is worth repeating: buying a jewel, better than a well-known and listed Maison, can be a good investment in the long term.

Anello con diamante da 50,47 carati di Harry Winston
Anello con diamante da 50,47 carati di Harry Winston

But buying diamonds is stuff for specialists, not for savers, unless you have the knowledge necessary to properly evaluate the investment, perhaps by consulting the Rapaport tables.

Consob, the italian Authority that supervises on the affairs of the Exchange, has opened an investigation to determine whether the rules have been broken for what concerns the sale of diamonds. Under the lens are four banks that are listed. They are Intesa Sanpaolo, Unicredit, UBI Banca and Banco Popolare. In the focus is the sale of diamonds through bank branches. A broadcast survey on RAI-3 claimed that the stones would be sold to the public without proper information on the risks involved in investing their money in diamonds. Perhaps the author of the analysis follows gioiellis.com (this article was published in August 2016). The fact is that several Italian banks distribute the diamonds on behalf of diamond brokers: an unusual partnership, which generated about 300 million euro. It would also indicated that the official in one of the banks would have advised a customer to make the purchase of diamonds without specifying the risks and promising that the diamond would have an increase in value consistently above the rate of inflation in the long run.

A spokesman for Intesa Sanpaolo has admitted that diamonds were sold, but only to customers with a minimum net worth of 100,000 Euros. From the others bank, for now, there are only no-comment. The two main brokers operating through banks are Intermarket Diamond Business and Diamond Private Investment.
In a nutshell, a thing is to buy jewelry, which have a value for their shape, processing and for the brand that has designed them, another thing is put in a safe some carats. In this case, the risk can be very high. Federico Graglia

Eight Alessa’s engagement rings

//

Eight engagement rings with diamonds by laboratory: the choice of Alessa ♦ ︎

Diamonds created in the laboratory are becoming increasingly popular. Not so much for the price, which is lower than natural diamonds, but not too much. Synthetic diamonds, now almost indistinguishable from those extracted from the earth by the eye also for the most expert gemologists, boast an ethical motivation: they avoid ground digging, the use of miners in difficult conditions, complicated post-extraction work. It is no coincidence that even the diamond colossus De Beers has announced its entry into the artificial diamond market. And it is no coincidence that the small Maison Alessa Jewelry has chosen The Diamond Foundry, an American company that produces synthetic diamonds and has among its shareholders Leonardo DiCaprio, to create a line of eight engagement rings.

A choice, explained as the result of a common passion for sustainability and ethical production.

Alessa’s engagement rings are based on the typical geometries of the brand’s style: for example, with brilliant cut diamonds or pear that have two trilliant cut stones at their side. Surprisingly, these engagement rings are inspired by the colors of the rainbow and Greek mythology. Each piece, eight in all, indicates both a particular nuance and the powers of a specific Greek goddess. For example, red represents passion, and green is hope, violet is spiritual realization.

Crivelli Outstanding

Jewels of pure diamonds by Crivelli: they are the Outstanding collection ♦ ︎

Things happen that sometimes push to get up when you are sitting down. Amazement, enthusiasm, surprise: these are the reactions that trigger the legs and, together, cause applause. All these reactions are often caused by something outstanding. Which means, in fact, remarkable, out of the ordinary.

It is no coincidence that Crivelli, Maison di Valenza specializing in fine jewelery, has called Outstanding a line of jewelry.

Crivelli, collier di diamanti
Crivelli, collier di diamanti

A special feature of this collection is the use of large, shimmering, precious white diamonds. The Maison does not use white diamonds only in this collection, but in the Outstanding line the stones are the undisputed queens and make the slight white gold frame disappear. The stones used are all of high quality and of considerable weight. The marquise, round, baguette, oval or pear cuts combine to form pieces of the highest aesthetic value (and not only). Jewels to be defined as outstandig, in fact.

A ring-shaped synthetic diamond

/

A record ring 3,865 carats entirely cut by a diamond. But it is synthetic ♦ ︎

The great run of synthetic diamonds is also played on a ring. It is the one made by Dutch Diamond Technologies. In fact, the company created the first ring made entirely with a diamond produced in the laboratory. The diamond-ring also has a name: Project D. Of course it is a special production, but it is indicative of how the synthetic diamond market can evolve. The D of the name indicates, among other things, the tenth anniversary of the Dutch Diamond Technologies.

The ring was made from a large diamond produced in a 155 carat laboratory.
The synthetic diamond was then polished and cut with the laser. It has 133 facets, compared to 57 of a standard brilliant cut. In total it weighs 3,865 carats.

Il diamante sintetico tagliato ad anello
Il diamante sintetico tagliato ad anello

In short, it is something that could hardly be done with a natural stone. According to Dutch Diamond Technologies until 2017 it would not have been possible starting from a large synthetic diamond. In 2011 the Swiss jeweler Shawish, has already proposed a ring made with a single natural diamond crystal. And similar is the project announced by Diamond Foundry, but the production phase would not have started yet.
Project D was produced in Holland, cut in the Netherlands and classified in Hrd Antwerp, Belgium. The synthetic diamond was created with the Cvd technique, Chemical Vapor Deposition (chemical vapor deposition synthesis). It took five weeks to produce it in these dimensions. Hrd Antwerp has thoroughly analyzed the ring and classified it: Clarity VVS2, Colour E, Fluorescence NIL, Polish Very Good and Symmetry Excellent. In short, nature could hardly offer a similar result. Federico Graglia

The Polki diamonds by Sally Agarwal

//

The Polki diamonds by Sally Agarwal have roots in the Moghul empire and a minimalist design.

Once, the diamonds in India were considered precious stones to be associated with the divine elements. And they were not cut with many faces as is done now in the West: the Polki diamonds, almost rough, have spread during the Mughal Empire lasted from 1526 to 1707 over much of India. But tradition and their beauty is still alive thanks to the London-based designer Sally Agarwal. After studying jewelry design in the big Asian country, Sally Agarwal opened a studio in London and has revived the forms used for traditional ceremonies in the royal courts. We must say that the result is unique and has its price: a pair of dangling earrings rose gold cost about $ 4,800, a necklace comes to $ 29,000 and a bracelet with three wires to 20,000.

On the other hand, notes Sally, diamonds as well as being combined with Hindu deities were also associated with his fortune, so that the properties of these stones were linked to membership of a caste: the gray or blacks were for the lower classes, while a maharaja could own diamonds of every color. And these things Sally Agarwal she knows, because that his relatives in India are the diamond merchants. Polki diamonds are usually quite large and having slight natural imperfections, which indicates the quality and also improves their character. “To enhance the unique characteristics of a Polki, as their eye-catching white glow that, for me, evokes moonlight, I designed a minimalist, frames in 18 carat yellow gold for my jewelry,” is the description that makes the designer of his work. Synthetic diamonds against natural. Here’s who will win

/

The unstoppable spread of synthetic diamonds. It will lower the value of your natural diamonds? According to this analysis … ♦ ︎

Will the spread of synthetic diamonds compromise the value of natural diamonds? Your jewels bought years ago, with stones extracted from the earth, will have less value, since diamonds and synthetic colored gems will be practically indistinguishable from the real ones?
These are legitimate questions, now relaunched by Paul Zimnisky, an independent analyst and consultant for the diamond industry.

Diamanti sintetici
Diamanti sintetici

Forecasts on diamonds

According to Zimnisky’s idea, in the next few years the sale of synthetic diamonds will multiply. Already now diamonds of better quality are produced even in colors such as pink and blue. Diamond syntetic production for the jewelry market exceeds 1.5 million carats of diamonds a year. And the prices of quality synthetic diamonds sold for jewelry have decreased by 30-40% over the last two years. It’s a the trend set to continue: last year the diamond giant De Beers announced the entry into the market of synthetic diamonds. And estimates indicate that De Beers’ synthetic diamonds can have a 65-80% discount compared to current prices. More: the largest producer of equipment used to manufacture synthetic diamonds has back orders of one year.

The great race

Read these figures well: it is estimated that the investment in the next few years to produce synthetic diamonds will be 1.9 billion dollars. So the laboratory diamond jewelery market is expected to grow 22% each year, up to $ 5.2 billion in 2023, and then rise again to $ 14.9 billion in 2035, with a long-term growth rate around 9%. And this also thanks to the improvement of production technologies, which should further push prices down. Summarizing: in the coming years there will be an invasion of synthetic diamonds, thanks to the reduction in prices, the increase in production and the positive image these stones have. Synthetic diamonds, that is, are seen as friends of the environment (even if to produce them in reality it takes a lot of energy consumption), since you do not have to scour the mountains or dig holes in the earth to get them.

How much do synthetic diamonds weigh

The world jewelery industry, again in the analysis of Paul Zimnisky, is valued at 270 billion dollars. The diamonds created by the laboratory currently represent 2% of the 87 billion market which includes jewels with natural stones. Even in the near future natural diamonds will continue to represent the majority of this market. But the diamond jewels created by the laboratory will increase to 3.4% in 2023 to 4.5% by 2035. Most of the jewels with synthetic diamonds will be sold at a price between 250 and 1000 dollars.

Colored stones

There are not only synthetic diamonds. From years the world of bijoux also uses rubies, sapphires, emeralds, etc. created in the laboratory. Unlike diamonds, these stones are very cheap. When you see jewelry with ruby-colored or sapphire-colored stones sold for a few tens of euros, you can be sure that these are synthetic imitations, even if in the description of the bijou this is not (unfortunately) specified. The current size of this market is estimated at around 40 billion dollars. Compared to synthetic colored gems, the diamonds created by the laboratory represent less than 1%. But, given that the price of diamonds will fall, their diffusion in the fashion bijoux sector will also increase: laboratory diamonds will represent 3% of the fashion jewelery market by 2023 and almost 7% by 2035, with prices under 250 dollars. And this is another reason that could depress the value of your diamonds.

Less nature

Natural diamonds currently represent more than 95% of the diamond jewelery market. But the production of natural diamonds is expected to decline over the next four years. And this also because the diamond mines continue to run out, though there may still be a few deposits not yet discovered. According to another point of view, however, this trend (ie the decrease of natural stones extracted) could add value to natural diamonds, despite the spread of laboratory gems. Also because, according to the analyst, consumers in countries like China and India may not perceive the diamonds created in the laboratory as substitutes for natural ones. In short, marketing will play an important part in convincing those who buy a jewel to choose one type of diamond rather than another. A diamond is forever? Yes, but what kind? Federico Graglia

Recarlo in Love for Valentine’s Day

//

The Anniversary Love collection by Recarlo is multiplied with the feast of lovers ♦ ︎

If Valentine’s Day is a party, it means that it is also an anniversary, that is an important date that recurs on the calendar. And since this is the anniversary of love, Recarlo’s Anniversary Love stems from the two concepts, with the extension of the Cupido, Eden, Feeling and Elisir lines. Valentine’s Day is also the perfect moment to enhance the choice of the Piedmontese Maison in terms of diamonds: the stones, in fact, are all cut in the shape of a heart.

Anniversary Love includes wedding rings, solitaires, contrarié rings, earrings and necklaces with pendant, also in white gold and diamonds.

Synthetic diamonds for Meghan Markle

//

Meghan Markle wears a pair of earrings with synthetic diamonds. And in Britain the debate starts ♦ ︎

The Duchess of Sussex continues to be an influencer in the field of jewelry. What Meghan Markle wears has immediatly a reflection on sales, not least because Prince Harry’s bride often chooses jewelry for everyone.

Now, however, another type of choice may also weigh: that relating to synthetic diamonds.

Meghan Markle, in fact, during her first visit as Royal Patron for SmartWorks (a charity that helps unemployed and vulnerable women), what has been described as her “most daring to date” jewel, that is a pair of earrings with three drops. The jewelry brand is Kimai, specialized in ethical jewelry: the earrings were made of 18 carat gold and the diamonds are obtained in the laboratory and cost only 315 pounds. A fact that surprised many: are synthetic diamonds quite “noble”? It seems so. And perhaps this time the choice of Meghan Markle will push many women to opt for this type of stone. The choice has already opened a debate in the British press and on the options represented by ethical jewels. On the other hand, the largest natural diamond company, De Beers, announced long ago the opening of a laboratory for the production of synthetic diamonds.
From her engagement with Prince Harry the Duchess of Sussex has always been wearing the latest jewelry trends, from brands like Birks, Missoma and Shaun Leane. And all have seen an increase in sales thanks to the young new member of the royal family.

Lady Gaga with Messika

Lady Gaga returns on stage with the jewels by the new Messika collection ♦ ︎

Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, aka Lady Gaga, got engaged with her manager, Christian Carino. And it does not matter if the singer is unfaithful. But not (until proven otherwise) in his personal relationships. The volubility concerns, rather, the choice of jewelry to wear.

After two days when she had wore a big Tiffany diamond necklace, the star chosed Messika’s jewelry.
