The German Maison introduces new additions to the Vivida collection, featuring rings that showcase round-cut diamonds.
Niessing—a historic German jewelry brand and a leader in innovation—is updating its Vivida collection. The solitaire ring, featuring the signature V-shaped setting, now holds a single diamond, mirroring the design of the matching pendant and stud earrings. The Vivida solitaire focuses entirely on a single diamond, enhanced by a setting that allows the stone maximum exposure. V-shaped elements securely hold the brilliant-cut diamond while keeping it highly visible. Elevated above the band, the diamond becomes the ring’s focal point; thanks to its design, it can be worn alone or stacked with other rings, such as a wedding band or other models from the Vivida line.

A similar approach applies to the Vivida solitaire pendant, which also features a brilliant-cut diamond. The V-shaped bar setting holding the stone offers an expansive view of the gem, from the table to the culet. Viewed from the side, the diamond remains visible across an arc of more than 180 degrees.

Niessing launched the Vivida collection in 2024. True to the Maison’s tradition, this collection embraces a modern, striking design. The name Vivida stems from the Latin word *vividus*, meaning lively or powerful, while the letter “V” is echoed in the lines of the setting. There are also updates to the Amatis collection, which continues to evolve. In addition to the classic brilliant cut, the ring in this line is now available with oval, pear, and princess-cut diamonds. The new stud earrings and pendants also feature all four diamond cuts.
