Cioè intelligente, capace di interagire con un iPhone o un telefono con sistema operativo Android. Lo Smarty Ring funziona in tandem con uno smartphone e permette a chi lo indossa di fare telefonate, leggere i messaggi di testo, controllare la musica e ricevere aggiornamenti in tempo reale dai social media. È fatto di acciaio inossidabile, è unisex, ed è stato progettato da un ingegnere indiano. L’anello è dotato di un sensore Bluetooth 4.0 e funziona sia con telefoni Android che iOs (iPad e iPhone). Il gioielo tecnologico ha un piccolo schermo led che si illumina ogni volta che l’utilizzatore riceve una telefonata, una e-mail, sms, post su Facebook o Twitter. Può anche essere usato come un telecomando e resta in funzione 24 ore. Al momento non è ancora in vendita: la commercializzazione inizierà nell’aprile 2014 in Australia e Nuova Zelanda aun prezzo piuttosto modesto: 275 dollari (circa 210 euro).
