The Ziio’s fantasy globetrotter

Ziio’s news bijoux ♦

It is fashion or jewelry? It’s fun and the desire to be different? It is fantasy or ecelttismo? Maybe all of these things put together describe Ziio, brand has now reached maturity thanks to its creator, Elisabeth Paradon, who invented in the early eighties. Are silver jewelry, gold and semi-precious stones. But what distinguishes them is the unpublished work, which reflects the exuberant creativity of the designer. And not only they are produced by hand, but also uses a unique technique, “developed through experience gained over many years of traveling and working in different lands,” from Egypt to France, Elisabeth Country of birth, from the Greek islands to Thailand.

Last April Elisabeth Paradon flew to Dubai to open a new distribution channel for her jewels in Arab countries. On the other hand, her work, with the creation of the Ziio brand, began in the eighties in Egypt, where she found inspiration for her creations in silver, gold, semi-precious stones and Murano glass, entirely handmade. And the trips served to the French designer to elaborate the exclusive technique used by the brand he founded, based in the rolling hills around Lucca (Tuscany).

An Evolution for Ziio

/

The new Evolution bracelets by Ziio are adjustable to adapt them to the wearer ♦ ︎

According to Charles Darwin, nature provides for slow modifications of plants or animals to improve their evolutionary capacity. In short, adapting to one’s environment or gaining more space is a common goal of all living beings. Now it is also that of certain jewels. This is the case, for example, of Ziio, a company from Lucca (Tuscany) founded in the early 1980s by designer Elisabeth Paradon. Ziio’s jewels are colorful, fun and exuberant like the birds of the Amazon forests.

Like the colored plumage of birds, even Ziio’s jewels are created to draw attention to the wearer. With some evolutionary changes over time: like Evolution, a new bracelet with the silver cufflink that bears the brand’s signature, and that is adjustable, removable and able to change its length. In short, the evolution of the species does not mean abandoning its own identity, but only modifying it for the better.
