TSTQCA. It is difficult to guess the meaning of this acronym even for those who speak Italian. The acronym, in fact, means “You are everything I love” (Tu Sei Tutto Quello Che Amo). The idea was by Guido Spallanzani, son of the founder Carlo Spallanzani of one of the most exclusive jewelers in Milan, founded in 1880. The initials appeared, as a dedication to his wife Rosabianca, on a bracelet in 1970. That bracelet was then followed from others, to become the Only You collection, the most famous of the Maison. But bracelets don’t necessarily summarize a sentence. On the other hand, jewels contain a word, like the traditionals Love, Peace, but also the ironic Not Today and even Ex Wife, in case you want to happily communicate your divorce.

The jewels, made by artisans in the Vicenza district, are in 18-karat gold, yellow, pink or white, while the words are composed with a pavé of diamonds. The same line includes chevalier rings, however, made up of a single letter of the alphabet and earrings, which instead form words like those of bracelets or instead with single letters.

Carlo Spallanzani in 1880 could not foresee it. Also because in those distant years an emoticon was not even imaginable. At Las Vegas’s Couture, however, jewelery brand founded in Milan for almost 140 years ago and run by the fifth generation of the family, has brought, among other things, the latest jewelery collection, Mood, which uses precious icons Used in messages or email. 😀
Bracelets, in short, can communicate emotions and feelings. But, of course, Spallanzani also showed something other, like the Manette collection, born in the 1970’s and reinterpreted with stylistic variants and the use of precious stones embedded. Circles and semicircles in gold, chains and pavé of diamonds or sapphires, but also with the use of enamel. Handcuffs collection existes of a long time and is renewed over the years. But if you know Spallanzani you know that the most famous classic collection is Only You, which started in 1970. It’s a jewel initially created as a gift from Guido Spallanzani, nephew of the founder, for his wife Rosabianca. The bracelet was customized with the TSTQCA code message, the initial letters that make up the words in Italian “You Are All I Love”. Romantic, sure. But also a good idea of design, so much so that gender developed again with different words and phrases.

Las Vegas is the capital of jewels with Jck Show and Couture: there is also a piece of Italian jewelery industry ♦
In Las Vegas is the time of the Jck Show (5-8 June 2017) at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino. It is the largest annual event of the jewelery industry in this part of the world and brings together more than 30,000 industry professionals. It involves jewelry companies, watches, precious stones, equipment, supplies, technology, security and business solutions: over 23,000 retailers present and about 9,400 stores. 23% of attendance comes from outside the United States.
VicenzaOro in Las Vegas
Among the protagonists is VicenzaOro, the format of the Italian Exhibition Group (a fair company which is born by the integration between Rimini Fiera and Fiera di Vicenza), which has brought to the city of Nevada famous for its casinos a hundred Italian jewelery companies. Jck, in fact, is an opportunity for the jewelery and luxury industry. The Italian pavilion is located on the noble floor of the event (Shoreline 2). There are internationally renowned jewelery and jewelery brands including: Biancaspina, Chrisos, Fani Gioielli, Falcinelli, Giorgio Visconti, Hasbani, Karizia, Leo Pizzo, Misis, Novecentonovantanove, Richline and Unoaerre. In Las Vegas there is also the Couture, hosted at Wynn Resort, another destination for the jewelry and watch market of luxury.
