Between pearls and innovative processing techniques, the new jewels of the Palermo FrancsV by Simona Elia ♦

Baroque pearls, diamonds. And frogs (or toads). The world of Sicilian designer Simona Elia could be that of a Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale. And who knows if kissing a jewel-batrace there is the possibility of transformation into a prince. Although, perhaps, it is safer to stay with the jewel. In any case, here are the jewels of Simona Elia with her brand FancsV which, in truth, is not limited to representing amphibious animals, but spans the world of nature among flowers, leaves and dragonflies.

The jewels are largely played on the contrast between the pearly shades and the color of the small colored stones, such as emeralds and diamonds, or with the use of dehydrated jade and flowers and then covered with a special resin. As in the Euphoria collections in gold, diamonds and Australian pearls or by Thaiti and the Puppies line. FrancsV collections can be found all over Italy, for example they are distributed in jewelers such as Maria Cristina Gioielli in Milan, Fallaci in Florence, Boncompagni in Piazza San Marco in Venice, the Anthares Goldsmith Workshop in Luras, the Tarasconi Goldsmith Parma. Prices: the range is very wide, ranging from 300 to 20,000 euros.

The nature by FancsV

Frogs and dragonflies, nature and colors of Sicily: the new jewels of FancsV reproduce the style of the designer Simona Elijah.

Ten years after its birth, FancsV has returned to VicenzaOro with new collections. The brand by Vitale family is made in Palermo, and has a link with the colors of the island. The creativity is a fruit by designer and sculptor Simona Elijah, soul of the jewelry. She stress the Italian character of the brand, which boasts collections made entirely within national borders. Made in Italy are also the stylistic interpretations of the collections, where natural elements, such as those of the animal world, including frogs and dragonflies and have their specific space. Also with the realm of flora, flowers and plants that are woven into a tropical atmosphere. Enamel colors, brown or white diamonds, pink gold, are the materials with which the collections of FancsV alternate without missing a fair dose of cheer.

The small world of Simona Elia

From Sicily with color: Simona Elia considers the jewelry like the realm of sculpture. It brings in small objects that are used to complete the look of a woman, the vibrant colors of the island in which she lives, along with the exuberant nature. Her brand is named Fancs V. The results are cascades of precious stones that serve to pose large winged butterflies fire red, or petals of an orchid with on a golden frog that tends the ambush to dragonfly, which has the back and wings covered with small diamonds. The funny thing is that the designer is not inside of the world of which is part: “Just do not like the world of jewelry because it is easy to recognize in it a lot of smoke and little substance if you take away the side purely economic,” she says. “Every jewel is a tactile and visual experience to live not in a hurry… a hymn to slow living to understand that Mother Nature is the only true creative that from her, its colors, its imperfections we find our inner balance” .
