Adolfo Courrier actually conceals two people. Adolfo Courrier, of course, designer-looking dark, but also Alessandra Zanchetta. In 2002 the couple founded the company, in the industrious and fertile area of Valenza (Piedmont, Italy) after having spent “several years in the search for expression, looking for a new concept of luxury.” The result is that Adolfo Courrier is a recognized brand in the elite of the new creatives, those who invent something new is not limited to make minor alterations to the tradition.

The processing technique of its jewels is that of the artisan district where the Adolfo designs his works. The ideas on which it works, however, belong only to him, or better, to them. Neiman Marcus, for example, has added new pieces for spring-summer 2021 that summarize the style of the Greek brand. These are rings and earrings made of gold, with the addition of enamel and ceramic (a feature of the Maison) and brown diamonds. The elongated oval shape, with double circle, confirms the typical geometries of Etho Maria, which always finds a balance between innovation and luxury.

The jewels are handmade, with settings that require a consolidated goldsmith skill. In fact, the brand has a rather intense program, given that its innovative collections come out three to five times a year, each with a strong connotation in terms of design.
Etho Maria is a brand founded in 1992 with the company Lithos, a word that in Greek means stone, while Etho Maria sounds like “come here Maria”.

Dámaso Martínez, jeweler from the Basque Country, to be precise in the city of Bilbao, has become an international brand. Her jewels are also sold by the American luxury chain Neiman Marcus. But, as is often said, behind a successful man there is a woman. And, in this case, it is not even behind it, because a fundamental contribution was that of Consuelo González, Damaso’s wife. Today each piece is designed by Monica Martinez, who is also the company’s CEO.

Damaso founded his brand in 1970. From a representative of jewelry, he made the leap and became a jeweler. From a small family business, over the years it has become a company known also abroad. Nothing to do with an old idea of ​​Spanish craftsmanship, of course. The style instead looks at essential and modern lines, but enriched by the colors of stones and contrasting materials. Like, for example, in the Moon collection, where next to the stones cut in an unusual cylindrical shape, there are pavé diamonds on pink gold.
