//

Monica Vinader is a British jewelry brand that sells necklaces, pendants, earrings, rings and bracelets. But it is also known because its affordable jewelry was worn by celebrities Kate Middleton, Kate Winslet, Cara Delevingne, Kylie Minogue, Elle Macpherson, Claudia Schiffer, Emma Watson. In short, even princesses and actresses do not always choose super precious (and expensive) jewelry.

Monica Vinader, creative director of the brand, started creating her first jewelry collection in 2002 while working in South America with her husband. At the beginning he created bespoke pieces for private customers, but soon the demand grew for a wider audience and in 2010 he opened his first store in London. The brand also grew thanks to the financing of the venture capital company Beringea. In short, the company took off with the formula of affordable jewelry and renewed at each season of the year. The jewels are largely made of silver or vermeil, in some cases even with the addition of small diamonds or semi-precious stones.

Monica Vinader in blue

The new collection with pink gold and blue diamonds by Monica Vinader.
What they have in common Kate Middleton, Kate Winslet, Cara Delevingne, Kylie Minogue, Elle Macpherson, Claudia Schiffer, Emma Watson? A ring or a pair of earrings signed Monica Vinader, designer born in Spain, but she grew up in the UK and lived in Santa Fe, New Mexico (USA). Which now offers a new collection that will make a leap in the chair to many: it is, in fact, a line of jewelry that uses blue diamond, a very rare color, which drives up the stock prices at the auctions. The Naida Blue Diamond Collection, however, can afford this luxury. With a very clean design, linear, geometric, the jewels of this collection are made of rose gold vermeil (ie silver gilt), with thin lines of blue diamonds which follow the profile of rings or pendants. It is a contrast of colors that brings out well the sparkling blue diamonds. Will it liked from the Duchess of Cambridge ? Lavinia Andorno

[wzslider]

The latest celebrity to wear jewelery of Monica Vinader was  been Princess Kate Middleton. But the creations of the designer born in Spain, raised in the UK and lived in Santa Fe, New Mexico (USA), are worn by a long list of famous women, such as Kate Winslet, Cara Delevingne, Kylie Minogue, Elle Macpherson, Claudia Schiffer Emma Watson. The idea of Monica Vinader is simple: to offer quality jewelry, but a relatively low price. To achieve this, Monica designs in England, but then made the jewels in India. The philosophy is easy-to-wear, jewelry for everyday wear, whatever the occasion. She  has succeeded in a few years: in his debut, in 2009, won the Brand of the Year to the UK Jewellery Awards. An award that allowed her to enter the luxury department stores such as Harrods, Selfridges, Liberty and Net-A-Porter, as well as the boutiques of Mayfair and Canary Wharf in London. It’s not bad as a career.
