The curious experiment of Iconoclass (https://gioiellis.com/giostra-di-iconoclass) Italian brand that has established a virtual bridge between Nuoro and Vicenza, has a new dream in the form of jewelery. This time the mobile bijoux brand, meaning they are made with elements that move in three-dimensional architecture, focuses on the imagination of «Around the World in 80 Days». Now it may seem like a long time, but at the time of the Jules Verne novel, the balloon was a hi-tech system of locomotion and 80 days an impossible time to go around the globe. In short, the balloon in the sky also means adventure and fantasy, and is the subject of the new Iconoclass line. The Mongolfiera Collection, which includes earrings and chain with pendant, is made of yellow, pink gold, rhodium-plated silver with a polished finish, earrings with pearls, amethyst and agate, elements that add shades of purple and green to jewelry designed by creative director Alfonso Montalto. Iconoclass, new company between Nuoro and Vicenza, which has an original idea of jewelry design, back to amaze. After the curious rides and jewelry that are moving (with some parts that move when they are inclined, see https://gioiellis.com/giostra-di-iconoclass), here is the bracelet decorated in silver that has a name just as curious: Oh Red. The reference is to the fairy tale of Little Red Riding Hood by the Brothers Grimm. Also in this case there are moving parts. Bracelet, with a sophisticated construction technique, allows the individual elements to chase: there’s a wolf chasing, but it never reaches Little Red Riding Hood. The bracelet is made of silver, while the wolf and Little Red Riding Hood are made of enamel. Price: 850 Euros. M.d.B.

The jewel of Iconoclass, a company founded in Nuoro but with laboratories in the district of Vicenza, has an unusual history: it is laser cut for precision and to join the creativity of the designer. The style is eclectic, so to speak: remember cuckoo clocks and the rides, with pendants dripping from small golden horses in various shades of gold. A little ‘nostalgia, a little’ pop: the collection presented at VicenzaOro is called Life, and the press release of the presentation defines a term guessed: cocktails. Includes five subjects: the cage that frees the bird to express themselves freely, with the cuckoo bird that marks the hours to symbolize the passing of time, the theater with the dancing Harlequin which refers to art, the balloon with the sparkling flame for those who always want to discover and to travel with the imagination, the carousel with horses trotting because life is an endless game. More, a limited edition for three subjects: the carousel Play with glazes (in red and purple version) that includes the only link in the collection; butterfly in the gazebo, Color harmony, beauty and nature; the sea horse, symbol of loyalty. The glazes of special triad are applied with the classic method and the cathedral, to achieve transparency. The collection is in silver 925/1000 and includes two sizes of pendants and earrings.
