Happy hearts, but also curious ones. Almost like a secret agent. Chopard announced last spring a collaboration with the Happy Hearts collection on the new film dedicated to the secret agent par excellence, 007. In No time to die, James Bond, again played by Daniel Craig, is surrounded by the inevitable and fearsome co-stars females, Ana de Amas, Léa Seydoux and Lashana Lynch. Baselworld is not just an opportunity for the big Maison to present new collections. Chopard, for example, has chosen the stage of the watch and jewelery fair to announce a green turning point. Or better yet again, to underline the philosophy that was embraced five years ago by the Swiss brand of fine jewelery and watchmaking and which is now further strengthened.
Protection of the environment, social responsibility and sustainability are, in fact, the themes that Chopard’s co-president, Caroline Scheufele, has decided to deal with the media. Gold and stones increasingly traceable, extracted so as not to cause harm to people and limit the impact on the environment: the project The Journey to sustainable Luxury by Chopard brings the date of 2013. At the Cannes Film Festival Chopard has already presented the first Green Carpet Collection to respect these intentions to the letter. Now Chopard wants to take even bigger steps towards sustainability.

New hearts in malachite and tiger’s eye for the collection of Chopard Happy Hearts ♦

Chopard launches Happy Hearts Collection, a jewelry line that uses, as its name indicates, the heart shape. An evergreen kind of jewelery. The pattern of the heart is already in the consolidated collection Happy Diamonds, a jewelry line that dates back to 1976. Happy Hearts reveals the link with the same matrix, even if the jewelry have different combinations: gold and diamonds can be together with hearts with turquoise, mother of pearl and onyx. Or with moving diamonds, as a sautoir, bracelets and earrings, which become undulating and delicate jewelry. Among the special features of the new form also a jewel of the collection: a cuff-reed whose two ends, a colorful heart and a heart with diamond Mobile, seem connected in a kind of two-step dance.
